Dr. Shakti Bakshi, MD

Dr. Shakti Bakshi is the best medical professional primary care doctor in the medical profession. He is compassionate, knowledgeable and caring for all of his patients. He is a fantastic listener and works very hard to make sure you are comfortable with any explanations concerning your health. He is trustworthy because he goes out of his way to use his knowlege and expertise to help his patients. He is always there for his patients. whether by telehealth or in person. He will follow up with you and make sure you are doing ok. His staff is courteous and efficient. Whenever you call you can be assured you can speak to someone or if not available, you will get a call back. I travel 42 miles to see Dr. Bakshi and do not plan on ever leaving him.

Dr. Bakshi is compassionate and empathetic. He takes his time to listen to his patients. I've been a patient 10 years or more. I love his office and staff. He is knowledgeable and has been extremely accommodating. He will work with you to find the right path for better health.

I have been a patient for many years. My family and friends also have him as their PCP. Dr. Bakshi and his staff have always been helpful and managed to get me an appointment whenever I needed one. My questions are always answered and I am able to discuss my health needs during visits and discuss long term general health questions when needed.

My parents in law have been Dr. Bakshi's patients for about 4 years now and they love him. They said that he takes time to listen, gives treatments that work, sends them to the appropriate specialist when necessary, and tries to do everything possible to help his patients. All of his staff make you feel welcome and they are friendly, caring, and good at their jobs. My in-laws are such big fans of Dr. Bakshi that if I would live in town, I would also go to him.

Always find this group so efficient and love how well synced the Doctor and staff are.

used to love this place till his wife became the office manager because she thought he was sleeping with the old manager... his wife falls down on the job ... 2 times my partner never had his RX called in and had to call to get them to send it over... happen to me twice and the second time it took over 1 .5 weeks and 2 calls from the pharmacy and me calling to get it sent over ... then he said because i may have her his wife feelings because I told her to get her act together he sent me a letter he wont see me anymore. Even after i called 3 times to speak to him directly... I don't know what happen but this place sucks and has gone down hill.. no care for other patients.2 other Dr have moved out of his building to what i can only seem that the guy must be a real jerk and no one can put up with him... save you life and go see another Dr. I will be filing a complaint with my insurance to have him removed from there list of DR. After 3-4 years of diagnosing myself and then having this Dr. give me antibiotics before lab testing my urine of which they said they never do, per Kim, I happy to say I was tested and found to be fine by another Dr. who said they always culture urine, and am glad I got the proper care elsewhere before this Dr. sent me a rude axe letter. But it’s for the best as he never seemed to love his job.

Dr. Bakshi is excellent. He listens to you, examines you thoroughly and explains his diagnosis. He takes his time to make sure you understand your treatment. He is an"old-fashioned" physician who treats the patient rather than sending them off to another specialist.

Dr Bakshi and his staff are without a doubt the very best primary care practice in the area. Courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and ease of scheduling an appointment is over the top. Dr and staff will even stay after closing to fit you in. He has cared for my Mother for over 15 years and now treats me, my husband and I referred my so. To him and he is very impressed with his level of care for his lifelong migraine issues. You cannot do better than choosing Dr Shakti Bakshi and staff!!

This is the beginning of my second year under Dr. Bakshi. I highly respect Dr. Bakshi's expertise and have total confidence in his care for my conditions. I'm from Chicago and had doctors from Northwestern Memorial. The physicians and hospital are leaders in the medical field. My experience allows me to recognize great doctors! His administrative assistant (Kim) is the best!
