Informative, knowledgeable and Caring
My daughters a I see Dr. Philip for a gene mutation that affects the endocrine system. He goes out of his way to make sure you understand your health condition and we never feel rushed. He also recognizes our health anxieties and will personally call to explain test results even off hours. I feel very reassured having Dr. Philip monitoring our condition.

I saw Dr. Shaji Philip seeking guidance and treatment for a hormonal imbalance. I came with tests results over the past seven years and was told that based on my physical appearance that there wasn't an imbalance (Hypogonadism). Dr. Philip didn't find merit in the symptoms I am experiencing or the lab work showing hormone levels were out of range according to "Endocrine Society Clinical Practice Guideline" for treatment. At times, it seemed as Dr. Philip personal beliefs directly contradicted recent published clinical information. (The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism - 2018) Further research on the subject and it appears that Kaiser has their own set of guidelines and levels. Which in my opinion are to better control costs as Kaiser is both the insurer and medical professionals in this case. Dr. Shaji seemed to be towing the corporate line. For this experience, I can not recommend him.
