I met Dr Gala once. The first thing when Dr Gala walked in the door was scream and scream at me. She did not say hello, she just screamed at me. She was mad at my blood work, and that I had lost weight. I began crying, and couldn't wait to get away from her. Because of Dr Gala, I have refused to go to a doctor again. This is the kind of human she is. I am amazed she is considered a Doctor.

I am so thankful for Dr. Gala!
Telehealth
I have been seeing her for a few years now for my psoriatic arthritis, and she is everything a doctor should be. She is informed and efficient, but is also so caring and kind. She inquires about how I am feeling and takes her time. I truly feel cared for everything I have a visit.

She is very intelligent however I didn’t learn much and felt diminished after every visit. The focus was completely decided by her, she spoke so loudly that I felt uncomfortable by how many people outside the cubicle heard the private conversation. In the end she was very focused on her own thoughts and ignored my obvious problems outside what the pathologist made clear as the only path. Didn’t want me as a patient so I ended up so uncomfortable by the treatment I was forced to leave, instead of her terminating me as a patient; very forceful of her ideas when we first met. Wouldn’t suggest if you’re a trauma patient or have an incomplete EMR, very suspicious dr.

Can I just say first that Dr Gala is LOVELY! Her demeanor is warm and kind. A friend of mine recommended Dr Gala, and I am so very pleased. She came in prepared and knowledgeable of my history, symptoms, previous labs, etc., and it was very apparent that she spent the time to understand the entirety of my records. My concerns were approached with compassion, and something about her is simply comforting. She was very thorough. She explained many possible causes for different symptoms, and what her plan of action was to identify such and why. All in all, I am very pleased with my experience with her and look forward to future visits, despite the circumstances.

Saw Dr. Gala when I recently moved to the area after being followed by two different Rheumatologists in NY,NY&Boston,MA. Each Rheumatologist I met with prior to Dr. Gala saw me multiple times before BOTH diagnosing me with Lupus. Dr. Gala told me I should seek therapy because "stress" can cause Fybromyalga and that's what she thinks I have, not Lupus. Dr. Gala saw me 2x in 1yr and did not want to see me for 1 more year. Horrible and dismissive. Might as well have diagnosed me w/ "Hysteria".

I met with Dr. Gala for the first time yesterday and was very impressed! she listened to my complaints and had studied my chart from previous visits. She spent quite a bit of time with me trying to determine a course of action in my case. I am encouraged by her suggestions and will definitely be calling her my rheumatologist.

I have been seeing Dr Gala for several years for systemic lupus. She is a thoughtful and professional doctor who cares as much about my health as I do. I would follow her to any practice as she has helped tremendously to keep my health under control and improve my quality of life.
