Dr. Sahrzad Akhtar a wonderful and unique Doctor.
I went to see Dr. Akhtar with some concerns weighing on my heart. After all, I was going to see a neurologist. However, as I came face to face with her, all my fears were allayed. Her face was so calming and her presence so reassuring. I was not mistaken. Dr. Akhtar not only has a sea of knowledge and experience, which she willingly shares, but she is also the personifcation of compassion and an embodiment of sympathy, and not just empathy. With her knowledge and experience, she was able to set all my concerns to rest. She also provided me with effective help in coping with my condition of hydrocephalus. I enjoyed evey minute of my visit with Dr. Akhtar. You have to meet her in person to appreciate what I mean and what it means to be in the presence of a very compssionat and able Doctor! Dr. Akhtar has a Great office staff and to me it’s the foundation of a successful practice. Dr Akhtar is brilliant Neurologist who focuses on the patient, listens and answers thoroughly, follows up very well. Dr Akhtar was recommended to me and I see why.

Doctor Akhtar is professional and gracious. She is empathetic to what you are going through and is thorough is making a diagnosis. I think she is wonderful!
