What a doc!
I went to see Dr. Ahmadi as a 2nd opinion from my daughter. She is a Memorial Care Doctor. She referred me to him and all I can say is WOW! He explained everything to me, and my husband had a few question for him. I didn't feel rushed and my husband and I think he is great. I would like him to do the surgery on my arm if he is willing.

There is no better.
After having total reverse arthroplasty and a subsequent revision (removal due to infection 22 months later) I found Dr. Ahmadi who knew what was needed and did it (a 2nd new shoulder). Not only that, he made sure the infection was totally gone and put me on antibiotics and advised that if I had any kind of open wound to see him. But there is much more. The day after the surgery Dr. Ahmadi had me move my shoulder and not just a little! He told me how to do safe movements to shorten the physical therapy time needed. When I was finally out of the sling 6 weeks later I hardly needed therapy. I think I went 6 times and while at a post op check up with Dr. Ahmadi he told me I was strong enough to stop. That sure wasn't the way it went the first time at another hospital and another doctor! Not to mention how kind the man is. As the title says, "There is no better."

He does not want to take time to answer questions or explain what he is going to do (or has done). When asked direct questions he acts impatient to leave the room, but answers...give very brief, unhelpful answers. I have seen him in office 5 times and once for surgery, the only reason I know what was done, is because I saw my surgical notes. He may be the most talented shoulder surgeon in the state, but he lacks people skills and or the ability to explain what needs to be explained.

I have been a nurse for better than 20 years. I recently injured my shoulder and was referred to a different Dr. I'm happy to say I left that Dr and saw Dr Ahmadi. I wouldn't go to anyone else. He didn't assume I knew everything. He explained things very clearly. I totally trust his expertise.

I saw Dr Ahmadi beginning in Nov 2014 for elbow issues. He performed surgery to remove a bone chip with attached ligament in Jan 2015. Dr Ahmadi did his own pre-op prep work and I was impressed with his diligence. I have since recommended Dr Ahmadi to several friends and had no reservations in doing so.
