TOSH was fabulous until HIM
I don't even know where to begin and I could tell the nurses were used to his arrogance and being disrespectful of them and me. He signed the discharge papers and left, then canceled the discharge for no apparent reason leaving me, the nurse and my husband sitting there for over an hour. Finally the nurse felt badly for us and executed the canceled discharge papers. I went home. OMG! He sent the incorrect dosage of medication. Finally he called me at home to correct it but my pharmacy had closed causing me to switch pharmacies at 8:30 pm while I was left miserable and in excruciating pain. I myself am a health care provider and the reason I believe people gave him more stars is because they weren't in pain, left sitting in discharge, or were impressed by his superficiality. TOSH should tell Kelly that this doc needs a new home. Unfortunately I'm afraid to attach my name to this in case I ever have to have him attend to me in the future.

AMAZING DR
First, people these days write mean reviews without a second thought of how hurtful they sound. Dr’s are humans too. I have difficulty understanding what people white these. Our experience with Dr Ghodsian has been superb! He is kind, compassionate, takes his time answering questions without rushing. Extremely knowledgeable n great advice on meds. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Ghodsian was the attending physician at Los Robles Medical Center when I had my Total Hip Replacement Surgery on May 15, 2023. I did not know there was a problem until early June when I received a letter from Blue Cross Blue Shield (my insurer) indicating that they made 3 attempts to contact Dr. Ghodsian, and they only received one text from him indicating that he was busy in meetings. BCBS simply needed the designation of the surgery changed from in-patient to "out-patient with observation" to save me an immense amount of stress; but to date, he has not done so. As a result, I am facing a bill of $258,398.45, for something that should cost zero, as I've already met my yearly deductible. I've made multiple attempts to contact him in person, to no avail. A person this inconsiderate could not possibly provide consistently good patient care.

Great Attending Physician
I am very grateful for Dr G. He spent a lot of time with me post surgery at TOSH and was very insightful and caring. I suspect the negative reviewers are people who misunderstand the attending physician’s role - he is not the primary surgeon physician.

Pompous. Self possessed, Rude
This is the second time we have been "assigned" Ghodsian as the "hospitalist" at TOSH. He is rude, asking personal questions not pertinent to patient care, made rude comments under his breath, constantly plays with his phone while completing patient exams, is totally self absorbed all the while thinking he is "cool". Based on prior experience before the latest surgery we even considered asking that he not be the attending hospitalist if he were to be so assigned or on call. His bedside manner overrides any medical expertise he may have, if any. On two separate occasions we have failed to experience the feeling that he is a high quality medical professional.

Scary bad
I did not get to choose my post-op doctor and just got stuck with him. I was in severe pain after surgery and he didn’t answer the nurses calls for over 6 hours. It took two days to get my pain back under control. Awful doctor

The WORST Doctor ever. DO NOT be treated by this man, he is delusional and completely inhumane. Uncaring, makes up lies and has made this experience ten times worse making his patients suffer. AVOID.

Dr Ghodsian is a very caring and wonderful doctor. He's very in tune with what the patient says and very open to any and all questions and discussion. There are many doctors out there. Many just ok... you're here for this, that doesn't matter. Definitely not the case. I totally appreciated his follow up and deep concern about my problem. It's hard to find someone as truly caring.

My experience with this doctor was far from even being close to satisfactory. I found him to be very rude and condescending to me and my daughter. If I found myself in the situation where he was on my case for my medical care, I would not let him have any input with my care.
