I saw his N.P. Explained all my symptoms to her. After her extensive exam, she went and got Dr. Nawaz who explained in detail the changes in my condition and what they meant and ordered a CT/PET and follow up appt. Dr. Nawaz is personable, thorough, caring and makes sure you understand everything.

I recommend Dr. Nawaz to anyone looking for a hematologist. Have been seeing him for a long time to treat my severe iron deficiency anemia. Many patients cannot absorb iron from food or supplements, so we live for years on the verge of anemia without recognizing the symptoms. Dr. Nawaz is unfailingly warm, compassionate and as knowledgeable as any physician could possibly be. I feel very secure in his care. Have had infusions to keep me level after meticulous blood testing done in his office.
