Dr. Shaheera Kader, MD

I first saw Dr. Kader when in my early twenties for general womens’ healthcare. I had a lot of anxiety surrounding the pelvic exam and Dr. Kader was so compassionate and patient, explaining everything she was doing and making sure I was okay throughout the process. I moved abroad for a few years and had to see Dr. Kader as a new patient in 2020 because it had been so long, but she remembered me. Over the past four years, she has been incredibly heloful with a skin allergy and irritation, my migraines, analysis of bloodwork and hormonal changes, and saw me ASAP when I found a lump in my breast last year. I called on a Monday morning and was told she was next in on Tuesday. Not only did they book me an appointment first thing Tuesday morning, but Dr. Kader called me directly Monday afternoon during her day off to go over my current symptoms and reassure me about the lump. It turned out to be benign, but I was super appreciative of how quickly I was able to see her and get examined!

I feel blessed to have such a fantastic doctor like Dr. Kader. She is wonderful, professional, brilliant and kind. She spends a lot of time with me since I have multiple medical problems. I really appreciate the tests she orders. She orders lab work on me and follows up with me, even calling me at home. By her thorough analysis of my conditions, she was able to diagnose a particular genetic disorder that I have which needed treatment. Thank you Dr. Kader.

I went to Dr. Kader to follow up on a problem I had seen her previously about. She was rude and told me I did not book the correct appointment type and then proceeded to tell me she could only address one of the problems I came in to discuss. She did address both issues during the visit and I thanked her for getting to both problems, but then she said "yes, I did at the expense of my next patient and I am now 20 minutes behind." After I left, I learned she ran a bunch of unnecessary lab tests and billed me an additional $165.00 for an extra long visit. She asked me to follow-up in 2-3 months but I will never see her again. She is not the same physician I have seen in the past. I now owe $755.00 that insurance will not cover because the labs were unnecessary.
