He should not be in practice. Initial visit, medication was prescribed without labs or patient history. The two years of this treatment, labs did not change from year prior to becoming a patient. When pressed with questions, he decided that he would no longer be interested in being my primary care doctor. A letter in the mail, not certified with return receipt as required by law. Now the medication that I currently take, I have had no direction on how to dis continue or renewal until a new primary care is secured. No return calls from him as requested. His billing procedures are terrible as the coding is not correct. Not unhappy that he dropped me, disappointed that he could care less. If you want to just take his word for it, fine, when you question things, he gets all sideways.

Good knowledge. Zero people skills.
I left a previous review, but it must've been a bit much as it was removed. It was like visiting a robotic doctor. I could've done an online survey and gotten better results.

I was very satisfied with my initial visit with Dr. Shams to potentially become my new primary physicians. Dr. Shams listened to all of my issues and prioritized them. He was friendly and attentive. He did take a moment to "warm up" but I much rather have an on the ball doctor than a friend. He was to the point and explained everything I needed clarification on. Highly recommend Dr. Shams!

I met with Dr. Shams for a wellness visit. He was courteous and thorough. The nursing staff I worked with also did an excellent job; I am satisfied with having him as my new PCP.

The front desk staff are the worst ever. They need better help. The whole office is rude and are friendly at all. The intake help need to go.

Wow! No bedside manner - is not interested in the well being and health of the patient - hard headed and never smiles and is not personable. I would hate to think if I really needed a Doctor I would be in trouble if I had to rely on this man. He has a lot to learn in this country if he expects to be a doctor of medicine. When you tell him whats bothering you he looks at you like you just slapped him and he does not understand and reverts back to his computer the WHOLE time he is w/ you.rude
