Three month checkup on rotator cuff surgery. Shoulder is doing great. Dr. Schriffern it’s very personal and and explains things very clearly.

Excellent. He took the time to understand my history, explained the procedure and answered all of my pre-surgical questions. The shoulder replacement procedure was successful and his follow-up exams demonstrated his interest in ensuring that the procedure was healing properly and that my recovery was on-track. I would like to share my experience I had with Dr. Shadley C. Schiffern for my both shoulders total arthroplasty (2023 - right side and 2024 left side). Dr. Schiffern presented himself very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He encouraged me to ask questions, and he answered all of them. I felt very prepared and comfortable, and understood exactly how the procedure was going to take place. I was very happy with his care and concern, his genuine interest and calming effect he provided to me before, during and after my both surgery's. He is an absolutely astounding surgeon!!! My recovery so far has been excellent. I would highly recommend Dr. Schiffern and his Staff to anyone who needs shoulder surgery. They are an awesome team!

Dr. Schiffern came highly recommended and provided the highest quality of care for both, my son's compound fractured arm (16years ago) and for my torn rotator cuff (5 years ago). Both have healed beautifully and both of us are enjoying full recoveries as active 'Crossfit' participants. . I met Dr. Schiffern in late 2022, when I found out my shoulder replacement (my 2nd shoulder replacement) had failed, and I had non-reparable damage to my rotator cuff. He outlined exactly what we would do — replace the failed implant with a “reverse shoulder” device. He explained possible complications, likely outcome. Because I’m allergic to nickel, he ensured that the device he would be placing did not contain nickel.He is thorough, caring, doesn’t rush answering questions. Office staff is also excellent and very caring. Considering I showed up on Dr. Schiffern’s service having already had 7 previous surgeries on this shoulder, my outcome is pretty amazing. Surgical recovery was the best I’ve had, and I’m back to doing most of the things I want to. Highly recommend.

Dr. Schiffern fixed my left elbow replacement on the third and final surgery. Great surgeon! Very friendly and professional. Talks on your level so you understand what is going on with your health. Listens, answers questions and gives a step by step plan of action. Best doctor in his field!

Dr. Shiffern replaced both of my shoulders 12 years ago and did an outstanding job. My latest visit was a follow up with questions about PT for some range of motion issues I have had lately. Dr. Shiffern did a full examination and referred me to a Physical Therapist that I can work with. regularly recommend Dr. Shiffern to my Senior friends with potential shoulder issues.
