My son and I have been seeing Dr.Shaik for several years now for thyroid conditions. She has always taken her time and listen, I have never felt rushed in her office, and all related staff experiences have always been pleasant. Searching for something on their website, I ran into the reviews area and decided to share my positive feedback as a token of my appreciation.

Doctor shaik is one of the most compassionate, caring and knowledgeable person. She truly cares for her patients. All my years with her and she has never rush while speaking or explaining things and always answers all questions. I don’t mine waiting for her when she gets behind on her appointment because when she is with you she takes her time in address a patient needs 100%. I had neck cancer surgery for a rare tumor and she was the ONLY doctor that called me at home before surgery to wish me well and address my concerns and called me after surgery to address my concerns about radiation therapy that I was scheduled to start. Truly amazing physician and great person!

Excellent first impression in hospital and first follow up. Dropped the ball totally on me after that by not giving me feed back on follow up blood work in portal, by not setting up a video chat as she promised, by not returning phone calls. I spoke to her MA about all this, who was going to relate my urgent request for communication with doctor. Never heard anything back. I am a snow bird and was left in the cold. She initially assured me she wanted to follow up on my hyperthyroidism for 6 months. I chose a different endocrinologist. The best first impression left a very sour taste in my mouth about her and her office. Never going back!

I love Dr. Shaik!!
I’ve been a thyroid patient of Doctor Shaik ever since she opened her practice years ago. She is so kind and caring and always takes time with me to ask questions and especially, listens. She has done an excellent job of managing my condition. I’ve always had positive experiences with the staff. Can’t say enough good things. I also love that she had a blood draw in the office, which is super convenient. It’s hard to find endocrinologists, it seems, that aren’t overloaded with patients and can give you the care you need. But Doctor Shaik is wonderful and attentive. I’ve been really grateful that I found her years ago!

She is the best.
I have been to several MD's over the years for thyroid treatment including a naturopath doctor. Other than the diagnosis, I want someone who is willing to listen and not be in a hurry. I wouldn't see anyone else. She cares about her patients. After each appointment, I want to say, 'Let's go to lunch.' That's how much I think about her.

Great Physician
Dr. Shaik listens and she cares. I have never met another physician with great bedside manners that treats you like a patient and not a number. If you are looking for quality care from a top tier physician, this is where you want to be

Terrible
Horrible experience here. Have to wait over an hour to see her usually, she doesn’t seem to know much at all about my specific disorder (scary how little from what I’ve seen: you could google it and have more knowledge), tries to get out the door almost immediately after making you wait an inordinate amount of time to be seen, does not follow up on blood work results and needed changes to medicines even after leaving multiple messages for days, etc.

I respect Dr. Shebeena Shaik. I appreciate the thorough and careful care that she has given me. She is extremly knowledgeable and has helped to solve and correct many health issues that have been distressing me for years. I wish I would have known about her earlier because I would not have suffered as I did before being in her care. Dr. Shaik is also personable, she takes time to hear patients concerns and then explain needed treatments.

1/2 hour in waiting room and a hour wait in a room after my appointment. My time is just as important as hers and this is disrespectful of others time. This was my first visit. Second was a phone appt. 15 min late from assistant call and another 1/2 hr wait for the doctor... 45 mins after my appointment. Rude! Not again.

My husband and I both see Dr. Shaik and we are very happy with her. She has controlled our diabetes and is very detailed when explaining things. She also takes her time with patients so if your waiting to see her that is why. I don’t mind this because she cares about her patients and wants to make sure they understand what is going on health wise.

Terrible doctor overall- would have voted zero stars if available,l. After couple of years wasted with doctor, couldn't identify symptoms and lost time and money. Should have checked her qualifications and her degree (from unknown institution) first. Doctor has no empathy and is there to make fast buck.

I have been seeing Dr. Shaik for a few years. She really is a terrible doctor. She doesn't seem competent with prescribing the proper dose to where you feel normal and don't have symptoms with hypothyroidism. I used to think it was her staff that was incompetent, but I have come to realize that it is her, too. She sits on paperwork, prior authorizations, prescription refills. The staff cannot make her do her job. I was told by a medical assistant that Dr. Shaik was holding up everything I needed. Last year, she sat on a prior authorization and prescription refills for a rare condition that I have and took months to get 2 prescriptions sent to the pharmacy properly written. I had to file a complaint. I have been trying to get a new issue resolved over 3 days this week with repeated calls. I was assured by the medical assistant that she would talk to the doctor and call me back today. No call. When I called back, the office was closed for the weekend. They don't care.

My husband and I have been going to Dr Shaik for several years now. We have been very happy of how she has been taking care of us since day 1. She is very knowledgeable and competent in her specialty that we felt confident with her care ever since. Every time we come and in and see her, we always have positive experience. She has an exceptional bedside manner and good sense of humor too. She takes time to listen and answer all our questions. Despite having a busy practice, her staff take time for our appointment needs, flexible and always calling us back in a timely manner. We also like the convenience of the Sonora Lab in her office. We highly recommend Dr Shaik.

I saw Dr Shaik at the brink of giving up. AC1 was over 12 and blood sugar 400. I was told I was on the brink of a diabetic coma. Any other dr would have put me on insulin. Dr Shaik listened to my struggles and goals and prescribed a treatment plan. One year later, today, my AC1 is 6 and average blood sugar at 100. I travel one hour one way to my appointments and while waiting time can be frustrating I know I will receive her full attention when I see her and...simply put...SHE'S WORTH IT. She's my personal miracle worker

Dr Shaik listens while looking directly at me. You don’t get that kind of attention from most doctors! I have been seeing her now for about five- six years. She was great at balancing my hypothyroid issues. So happy to have her for my doctor that I don’t mind traveling 35 minutes to get to her office.

Very impersonal interview with physician's assistant who decided on course of treatment before seeing the doctor. Waited 45 minutes to see the Dr. SHAIK who didn't take my symptoms seriously either and did a 1-2 minute exam. I went for a second opinion elsewhere and got a very different experience. Second place was very thorough, did labs and ultrasound in office that day.
