Pain Free
Prior to the surgery I was having pain and aching in my legs. Difficult to get comfortable in pretty much any position sitting, standing or laying down. I saw a vascular surgeon thinking maybe the leg pain may be cause by veins. Not the case. Next tried pain management and 4 steroid spinal injections. Injections helped at first. Next I got evaluations from 2 neurosurgeons. After reading reviews and researching as much as I could, I decided on Dr. Bidiwala. Very professional and also personable. Explained procedure and recover process very thoroughly. August 22, 2023, Dr. Bidiwala performed surgery for a slipped disc in S1 L5 area. Immediately after surgery the leg pain was gone. This was an 6 to 8 hour surgery. Yes there was pain where the 4 screws and 2 rods and a spacer were placed. As Dr. B explained recovery could be at least 6 - 8 months. I'm at the 6 month and I have soreness. I am able to perform tasks that I could not for 4 years. At 72 yrs I feel I got my life back.

What a Team!
Dr. Bidiwala and his PA make for a talented neurosurgical team. I was able to schedule a consult and surgery within weeks rather than months. And his office staff is a joy to work. It was a stress-free medical experience.

Unfortunately, I had to have back surgery last April (2021). Dr. Bidiwala and his medical team performed that procedure superbly and without any difficulty. The aftercare was also well organized, timely and done with my best interest. I am confident that the care given to me is just standard for all of his patients. The office staff are all very kind, courteous and helpful. I am truly Blessed to have Dr. Bidiwala as my neuosurgen, he is passionate about quality care for his patients; very knowledgeable, concerned and uses humor to settle nervous patioents such as I was before I met him. God Bless Dr. Bidiwala, his team and office personnel.????

I suffered with lower back pain since 1979. Dr Bidiwala’s skilled hands and his team took care of my pain in 2012 and I’ve been pain free every since. If you need back surgery Dr Bidiwala is the one and only Dr you want to touch your spinal column!

An excellent neurosurgeon. Dr. Bidiwala has performed two surgeries for me. In May 2020 he performed a multi-level cervical spine fusion. I am recovering very nicely and began noticing nerve regeneration just 4 weeks out. In January 2020 he removed a syringomyelia cyst at L4 which had caused nerve damage in my left leg. 100% recovery from nerve damage and am walking normally. He has a warm and engaging personality and actually converses with his patients. I'm always amazed by how people rave about him when in his waiting room or in the hospital. Highly recommend him. In 2006 I had posterior cervical spine surgery by the head of neurosurgery at a large hospital in Michigan. Dr. Bidiwala runs circles around him.

Dr. Bidiwala navigated my family through a life-threatening bleeding of the brain and performed surgery to correct the problem. He is a fine physician and surgeon and our family would certainly recommend him to another patient.

Came in with my boyfriend for his surgery, check in time 10 originally 11 and of course we are on time. Surgery scheduled for 2:30. He was called asked him to come in an hour earlier, it’s now 4p no surgery. I went out to the nurses station three times and could find no one. At 3pm the nurse came in said Dr. Bidiwala would be here in the next 30min to speak to my boyfriend, it’s now 4pm and still nothing. Unacceptable care.

Dr. Bidiwala is an excellent doctor. He is reassuring, knowledgable, and takes time with his patients. When I was hospitalized in 2017, I was struck by the admiration every person had for him, both medical personnel and regular people included. That continues to this day, in his waiting room! This speaks volumes for the level of well deserved respect for him personally and for his expertise about the subject at hand.

Dr. Bibwala is the greatest! I chose him because a friend of mine had gone to him and he didn't recommend surgery. I wanted a doctor who didn't make that the go-to answer for everything. In my case, I had already exhausted all other treatments, so surgery was needed (L4-L5). It was difficult to go through, but Dr. Bidiwala is definitely a pro and is realistic about recovery and results. I highly recommend him to anyone suffering with back pain. Don't suffer, get it checked out, and find out the best way to deal with it.

When my husband originally went to see Dr. Bidiwala, he was walker dependent and literally "L" shaped as he was unable to straighten his spine. We had seen at least four different spinal specialists and no one could diagnose him or effectively treat his pain. When Lou first saw the doctor in September of 2018, he was diagnosed within minutes of Dr. Bidiwala seeing his images. Dr. Bidiwala then began to restore our quality of life. My husband is currently standing up straight and walking normally again with little if any pain. Dr. Bidiwala has given us our lives back and we are forever grateful.

Dr. Bidiwala is an exemplary, professional, and compassionate doctor. I was so blessed to find the best neurosurgeon ever! He listens to your symptoms, confirms with tests, and explains results and your options in everyday language you can understand. If surgery is needed, he clearly explains what to expect, recuperation time, and is there to answer any questions throughout. Dr. Bidiwala had to correct an old fusion from 25+ years ago and I now can stand up straight, lay on my back, and do not have any more leg pain. His staff is exceptional and caring as well.

My husband was diagnosed with hemi facial spasm and I was looking for a neurosurgeon to perform brain surgery to fix the issue for good. I literally googled and was super lucky to find Dr. Bidiwala. Dr. Bidiwala took 2 seconds to diagnose the exact problem from his MRI and performed successful surgery. It was the follow ups after the surgery that I will always be grateful of. The trust was built and I reached out to him for my spinal surgery. We both owe a lot to Dr. Bidiwala.
