Dr. Seyed Mostoufi, MD

1. One week later, I am in worse pain. Is this typical? Had to consult PCP for treatment ice, heat.2. I couldn't rest long in recovery as they needed the bed to get more patients in. One nurse didn't even know where supplies were located.3. No meds were given in recovery resulting in a 10 pain when I got home. Do this is in a hospital.4. While perhaps technically good? has no bedside manner. A few moments of pre or post surgical counseling would have been helpful.5. Many bandages left on my back? Looked at my back hours later and paged MD and told to rip them off. I did not know what they were. Careless at best. How do I know? They were some kind of Leeds left on they were in such a hurry.6. It is a free standing factory. One nurse had knowledge.

I saw him for daily pain in my upper back. He was charming and helpful! He order a TENS unit for my pain.

I had not seen Dr. Moustafi since 2019 after he had done 4 ablations for my neck pain, which is no longer a problem. I went to him today for back pain. He is very understanding and will try different methods to avoid surgery. He explained everything's to my understanding.Staff is very personable.I highly recommend him.nsf

I met with 3 different spine/nerve specialists trying to get help with a herniated cervical disc. Long story short--I got positive results from none of them, and Dr. Mostoufi at NE Spine Care in Cambridge was definitely the least helpful. He rushed though a 15 min. appt. that cost $268.48 even though it only involved talking--no labs, imaging, etc. I felt like I'd been scammed. In the end, I found a good chiropractor and physical therapist team and am now ~80% recovered after 2 months without the injections or surgery the specialists all recommended.

Best pain management Dr. I've ever had. Has a superb bedside manner and his staff is also top notch. Dr. Mostoufi has taken me from daily chronic pain to years of pain free life. I'm 75 and finally have long spans of pain free and WITH NO MEDICATION to keep pain at bay. He has given my life back.

I have been seeing Dr Mostoufi for about one year. Initially, I was very excited to have met a doctor who really seemed interested in my well being and finding a source and cure for my pain. However, things changed early this past Spring (2016) when he abruptly announced that he was no longer going to be prescribing medications or seeing patients on an on-going basis. With no help or assistance in placing me in the care of another pain doctor, I've been abondoned. Did he lose his license???
