Total lack understanding of patient age91
The blood collector assistant said The GOOD SAM EMERGENCY DEPT WAS NOT CONNECTED TO GOOD SAM Hostpital. He refused to adminisater the blood to the patient even though he had his blood tested by Dr Gupta. and she ordered the units siutable for his needs. Dr Martin said he could have a pint and we could leave. Blood level 6.5 witout treatment. It would take more time to get the results from the lab and we had been waiting since 2pm and it was 7pm

A gift from God
Five stars. If I could give more stars I would give 10. The entire staff at Good Sam is wonderful. Everyone including Dr Martin treated me with kindness and professionalism in my time of need. I had never visited the hospital in my 47 years and felt foolish. Dr Martin was kind and listened. I could have probably made it through the night. I feel as though I wasted their time. Not because of anything they did. I never wanted to be that person that showed up at the ER with something I could have waited and not held up people that truly needed emergency help. It’s hard to know. Dr Martin has expertise. I appreciate the precious time he took to care for me. Forever grateful.

Dr. Seth Martin is an excellent ER physician. When it comes down to LIFE and DEATH issues - Dr. Martin is the doctor you want getting your pulse back, your heart started again, your intubation done correctly; etc. Unfortunately, many people use the ER as a health clinic and that’s not the proper use of Dr. Martin’s specialized training! When you have a REAL EMERGENCY - Dr. Martin is the best in the business!

Should not be a Dr 0 stars 4 0 cares from him
The fact that he ignored my history of foot is stand year prior surgery w Osteomyelitis that started from staph to mercer to osteo. Same hospital he has records but because I had a keychain attached to my purse that included a lighter leash he assumed it to invalidate my claim. He snapped the lighter on leash from my purse and let going saying'why should I even help you!' I explained history and that I had cut down by 75 percent in my smoking on a plain to quit. It was my toe my foot swollen, my toe got cut by a fluke beatle that cut me. It was a gapping whole ozzing pussing swollen painful! I asked for antibiotics as I knew only that would help. No tests done at all, it's fine he said not infected gv a pain medand dischi me. Seven months and five plus hospitalizations hve a port line in my arm gapping whole from extremely hard surgery that was way too much and my toe is double infectedwithOsteomyelitis in and fungal. It went to my foot two days later.living ruined life was avoidable.

Good emergency MD, maybe too efficient
Dr Seth is a good doctor who answered all my questions and was thorough in determining if I had an EMERGENCY situation. (UA, BLOODS, and CT) He is overly stoic to some extent which could make you a bit uncomfortable before he delivers news to you as you won’t know if it’s good news or bad news even as he’s walking in the room with somber demeanor. The bad reviews here i think are from folks that probably didn’t need to be in the ER and he’s very good at determining if you NEED to be there , better than the actual patient so I think it makes some people bothered by his efficiency . That is my two cents on the matter

Don’t waste your time with this doctor!
Totally arrogant! I had a cough that did not go away. He did not even get close to me, listen to my lungs or stay for questions. He was not even 60 seconds in the room. I suggested a chest X-ray and was told it was unnecessary. Prescribed antibiotics. This was at the Good Samaritan in WPB. So sad! I felt even the nurses were uneasy with the situation.

Dr Martin Does not Care about his patients
He did not answer my fiance's or my questions regarding a health care plan for my fiance. He also violated the number of her patient right. This happened at Good Samaritan Hospital and otherwise wonderful Hospital.

Dr Seth Martin is Not A Good Samaratin
Dr. Seth Martin was pompous, rude, violated the number of my patients rights. I was truly disappointed in care he gave at Good Samaritan Hospital ER. Is a shame he's employed at that hospital. I truly love the Good Samaritan Hospital umbrella. However oh, Doctor Martin is a dark stain I mean otherwise refreshing Hospital system. I would not recommend anyone go doctor Martin. And plan on following up regarding the violation of my patient rights by dr. Martin.

Came in with my rare disease, nonverbal, intellectually disabled, asthmatic child who had runny nose, cough, sore throat & a rash on his belly. When Dr. Martin came in the room, he asked what the symptoms were and I told him. He didn’t check my son’s ears, throat, or lungs!! He was in and out in 30 seconds saying “it’s viral.” I pushed for a strep test which thankfully came back negative but I am appalled at his attitude and the fact that he didn’t even check my coughing asthmatic child’s lungs. FURIOUS is an UNDERSTATEMENT. Why is this man even a doctor if he doesn’t want to do his job?
