Everything you want in a thoracic surgeon.
After a lung cancer diagnosis I asked my pulmonologist who he would go to if he had my diagnosis. Without hesitation he said Dr. Seth Krantz. I was not disappointed when my wife and I saw him. He explained everything, the diagnosis even drawing a picture of a lung to show where the tumor was and to explain the robotic surgery. He addressed the hospital stay, recovery period and follow-up. He with great patience and understanding answered all of our questions and concerns. He and his team were available by phone to address anything else for us. All of this prepared me for the surgery and reduced my anxiety tremendously. The operation was a success. At every step, Dr. Krantz and his team of physician's assistants were there for me. During my hospital stay, they and the nursing staff pampered me. As far as I am concerned, Dr. Krantz and his team are the rock stars of thoracic surgery.

Dr. Krantz is outstanding! After surgery on my left upper lobe, I am cancer free. He is knowledgeable, personable, and above all, knows the most current and least invasive techniques for surgery. He has an outstanding staff who answer questions promptly.
