Rude office staff
The office was really rude when I called for an appointment. Then they gave me a hard time cause my they needed a referral for my doctor. I made an appointment at NYU Langone in the city instead. Being one of the few Endocrinologist on Staten Isjand you would think they would be a bit more friendlier and accommodating for patients

Professional doctor and unprofessional staff
Dr. Das is a thorough physician that explains your medical condition. However, his office staff is unprofessional and could cause him patience. As wonderful as he is, no one should be spoken to or treated unprofessionally.

Excellent Dr.. Very thorough, professional, excellent bed side manners. explains, clearly in detail. will answer all your questions. Does not rush, spends ample time in each visit Staff is courteous, kind, very responsive. Sometimes you have to wait, but Dr. Das and his staff are well worth it.

Love the Doctor Needs New Staff
I’ve been going to this doctor for years, I don’t know where he finds his receptionists but they are immediately on the defense with an attitude for the simplest of questions. It’s really a shame because it deters people from wanting to return, if he wasn’t such a thorough, great doctor he wouldn’t have any patients based on his receptionists alone. I watched them yell at an older woman because she was trying to explain to them that the bathroom door was locked but no one was in there. The girls clearly are bothered by patients, they shouldn’t be in the office and the only reason I’m writing this review is because I physically cannot tell the doctor until my next appointment.

Waited 3 months to have them cancel 3/10/22 appt
So far I terrible, I was waiting three months for my visit 3/10/22. At 5pm the day before Toni called to cancel my appointment she told me that I made my appointment on my own and the next available date is June. Why on earth is it offered on line to make an appointment ? Toni was repeating herself, talking over me, loud, rude and not giving me any resolution. I asked her to fix it or allow me to speak with a mgr ...she will leave a message for Laura. Something tells me ....Based on her rude demeanor I doubt Laura the mgr will call back tomorrow or offer any acceptable resolution

Best Doctor Ever
I have been seeing Dr Das for over 30 years. He is kind, caring and the most knowledgeable doctor I have ever encountered. He knows so much about so many medical issues. I feel very well taken care of being under his care. I moved out of NY last year but drive an hour and a half to see him for my appointments.

Dr. Das is the most caring and knowledgeable doctor I’ve ever been to. He talks to you, not at you. He makes sure you understand everything he’s telling you. He has taken incredible care of me, my husband and my son and we have all done better under his care.

This was the worse experience i have ever went through! I have an issue with my thyroid and attempted seeing dr. das since april of 2016. i have completed all the blood work that hes required as a pre-screening. Since then, its been nothing but hell and back for me. His office would call to schedule an appointment. A few days before my appointment, I would receive a phone call confirming my appointment (normal). EVERY TIME after i would receive this phone call, the office would follow up with a

I had an appointment with Dr Das on Sept,12 2020. ( after 1 & 1/2 month wait ). Dr Das by himself was ok but overall I had very bad experience with Dr Das procedure & his staff behavior. I am not planning to go back.

Dr. Das saved my life. At 17 My PCOS was not diagnosed and it led to thyroid issues. He put me on birth control and I lost all the weight I gained. He was patient and saw the bigger picture. I know similar women who saw doctors who were not concerned about their weight gain and now have fertility issues. Das is great at explaining everything. I truly can't say enough good things. He will do everything so you lose the wright and resolve your health issues as naturally as possible.

I think he is a nice guy but a terrible endo. He prescribed a very high dose of Synthroid, which caused heart palpitations. Them he abruptly cut my dose by 2/3 which did nothing to alleviate my hypo symptoms. He refused to order thyroid antibodies test and refused to give me copies of lab tests that he did order. I would never recommend him to anyone.
