Dr. Serign Marong, MD

They told me they had no answers for my physical condition on the very first appointment. They ordered x-rays then told me they don't know how to read x-rays, mismanaged a prescription. They told me I needed a Pap smear even though I've had a total hysterectomy. The doctor wrote me off because he said I was 60 years old and I'm not gonna be able to do the things I used to. I was given outdated information on a particular procedure that was recommended, and told to do my own research about it, and find my own provider who performs it, they don't listen, very poor office manners, when symptoms persist after their recommendations, they do no follow up, it was an overall exhausting and awful experience. I will never see another northwest hospital based position again.

I've been a patient of Doctor Marong for about three years now. He impressed me on my first visit because he took time to listen to my concerns and review my senior-citizen health history. I've not felt rushed to get out of the exam room. I also like the process of leaving the office with a printed review of what was discussed. That review took a bit of getting used to since it required Doctor Marong to type as we talked, but he didn't seem to miss a beat. His communication skills and 'bedside manner' are excellent and his credentials are top notch. My wife is also a patient of a doctor in the same medical group and we've both been impressed with referrals to specialists which we've been given. I highly recommend Doctor Marong as a primary care provider.

He is well informed and courteous, with good, common sense.
