Dr. Sergio Seoane, MD

Do not go to this guy if you value your aviation career.

He spaces appointments so you are not waiting with other people. He takes the time necessary to address all of your needs. I have been going to him over 25 years and have never been disappointed.

THREE STRIKES. My feelings about my experience with Dr. Seoane Never ever ever would I go to this guy to get my FAA medical again. It cost me four months grounded due to his lack of knowledge and failed promises and lack of concern. Fall, 2023, arrived at Seoane’s office and passed the medical. He said he would have to fail me because a new medication I was taking was not approved by the FAA. I begged him to reconsider as I had a brand new aircraft and the FAA would take three or four months to approve my medical. He agreed that if I could bring in a blood test within the last 12 months showing I was in within the proper parameters, he would pass me. I told him I had such a test and called the next day assuring them that I would bring the test in which I did a half an hour before opening the following day. At this time he informed me that they already sent my application as failed. He said there was nothing he could do about his mistake and that now it was in the FAA bureaucracy.

Dr Seoane is a compassionate and highly competent doctor who truly cares about his patients. I’ve been fortunate to count Dr Seoane as my personal physician for many years and am grateful for his excellent service.

Dr. Seoane has been my primary Doctor for well over 15 years. He is kind, caring and extremely thorough. I have never been to see him where he has rushed in and out. On the contrary, he will sit and listen to you as you explain your symptoms and ask you questions to further clarify what is going on if needed. When he decides on a course of action he will explain it to you so you understand what he is doing and why. He is one of if not the best physician I have had.
