DO NOT RECOMMEND
Cannot recommend. Not very caring, fairly arrogant demeanor. She does refer, refer, refer. You cant actually get any treatment from her, but you can sure get billed. I received a co-pay for my physical, which is 100% paid by insurance, because she asked me if I had any issues and I mentioned an ONGOING issue. Because she talked to me about that issue (well- she referred me actually), she charged me for an office visit.

This practice is focused on collecting as many well visits as possible and sending sick patients to minute clinics. Anything slightly complicated is sent out to a specialist. No pride in actual patient care. Doctor complained she hated taking new patients and it was too much work because my previous records had to be entered manually.

I would never be her patient - stay clear. She doesn't care about her patients and is a horrible PCP. If I could give her a negative rating, I would. She sat on abnormal mammograms for months, possibly years. I had even requested an ultrasound or MRI due to having dense breasts and she denied the need since I was having every 6 month mammograms. Last year I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and feel if it had been caught sooner, I would not have had to go through 10 round of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy and 28 rounds of radiation. Her lack of follow through, not only with the mammograms but the slow roll of testing when a lump was finally felt, has taken so much away from me and my family. Not only that, I continued to receive follow-up mammogram requests in the middle of chemo treatments. It made me so upset, as if she didn't realize or read any of the test results I had gone through. She is the WORST PCP and really should find a different profession or retire.

Worst medical experience ever. Went to Dr Azam after my PCP passed away. She had never heard of the condition I am diagnosed with (albeit common), doesn't know the medicines I was on (but you have seen them on tv) and even with my medical records wouldn't refill my prescriptions, after waiting weeks to see her, she left me unmedicated and abandoned. Left the office outsourced to 6 specialists all of whom couldn t understand why I needed to see them where I was already diagnosed and had a treatment plan. I wouldnt trust her to treat my hangnail let alone a serious medical condition. Seek sound medical care elsewhere this doctor should get a new profession as she doesnt want to take care of her own patients.

Dr. Azam was very dismissive. I felt like I had to hurry to explain my symptoms and that she didn't listen to my concerns. I literally left there in tears and wound up a few days later with a diagnosis (not from her) of a illness that became quite severe, which could have been prevented if she had just listened and HEARD me.
