I am happy to give him 10 stars! I was very grateful for the years I spent being under the care of such an experienced and capable doctor. Dr. Villarreal is one who will give you his full attention and helps you get through the difficulties of being in chronic pain. He helps with using every method he possible can to help you manage your pain on your own as you recover. I always had a very peaceful experience dealing with his office staff too. His kindness alone, gave me more hope than ever. Thank you Dr. Villarreal, for showing me that despite the lack of strength and in the face of my fatigue, for treating me so delicately.

I highly recommend that you NOT use this practitioner! His office staff is RUDE and UNCARING! This IS THE SECOND MAJOR SCREW UP that I have experienced with this practitioner. I let the first one go. Do NOT let them mistreat you! Pain is NOTHING TO MESS WITH, but at this practice...they just DON’T care!! Find a competent doctor with a competent staff! Do NOTGIVE THIS TWO BIT OUTFIT THE CHANCE TO SCREW THINGS UP GOR YOU!!!

Dr. V and his entire staff are truly amazing!! I'm not sure why some people have Made negative Comments/Reviews other than maybe having an unrealistic expectation going into the office. This is not a pill Mill or some Doc in the Box this is truly a Pain doctor and Specialist that genuinely ? Cares. the front office staff normally Greet me but my children and ask how we've been and make us feel right at home. I had a very difficult major surgery there was difficulties managing my pain while I was in the hospital thanks to dr. V and his staff I got the correct pain medication that I actually needed while I was in the hospital because he knew when I took when I need it and what would actually help heal after surgery because of the level of pain and types of medications I would take. Please don't listen to the negative reviews or comments. I am so Greatful!!!

I had 3 procedures with Dr. Villarreal. I did not see the Dr. before, during or after the procedure or on my follow up visits. I was ask by a lab person that was in his office to give them a urine test. When I ask why I was told because the Dr. wants it. I refused. It was a unnecessary, money making procedure. I will not go back. Ask for my records to be faxed to another Dr. and that Dr. never received them. Office staff constantly changing as well as medical assistants.

Dr. V and his staff are excellent! They really care about their patients and it shows. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Usually that means they weren’t able to manipulate the provider to get what they wanted.

Dr. Villarreal has been very caring and attentive to my medical issues, which have been many in my spine. He has taken the time to talk through each and determine the best action for each. I have had several procedures done in the office, and it is much easier to have them done at the office instead of a surgery center. The procedure staff are so caring and personable. I have (and would) recommend him to others.

Dr Villarreal is the man. Helped my husband out so much with the debilitating pain he had experienced for years. Dr V. helped my husband get walking again virtually pain free (no more CANE). His staff is also incredible and very friendly. We both feel like family when we engage with the entire staff. I have had my concerns addressed and all my questions answered. Can't say enough about this practice; highly recommend. So now I am a Dr V. patient as well.

Disinterested and inefficient admin staff - wrong charges, inability to submit to insurance - lack of follow up calls, no response to emails. Spent time and money on two procedures as a course of proposed treatment towards the third and final treatment which the insurance denied as they did not believe I was diagnosed correctly Doctor himself was very pleasant and seemed to know his subject very well, but the rest of the experience was terrible and I am no better off now pain wise than before

The office staff at Dr. Villarreal is totally incompetent and unprofessional. My husband and I were overcharged by $250 in March and are still waiting for a refund. Linda just keeps saying unless BCBS calls her and says we overpaid she will not refund our money. BCBS has already told us we overpaid. Why can't she just figure out how much they billed the insurance and then check how much the insurance company paid them??? We would use Dr. Villerreal again if not for his office staff.

Went bc of my sciatic nerve. After being taken to an exam room, it took over an hour for the Dr to actually come in. He spent 5 minutes talking about my sciatica. And then changed the subject to me needing to quit smoking and lose weight. That portion of the conversation was over 30 minutes, and continued all the way to the checkout desk. Thanks Dr V. I appreciate nothing actually being done for the issue I came in for. Nothing like wasting a $50 copay. And being repeatedly told your overweight.

I have been sending Dr. Villarreal for many years. He has poor bed side manners, his office help don't last more than 3 months then they quit. He tries to keep an office manager but the leave too. The office help he does have is rude, uncaring and he tells then what to do. He is not up to date on all procedures !! It used to be he had time to come in to spend ,but now he has seminar's with 2 drs and he sends in a nurse practitioner. Shows he doesn't care for his patients !! He is the worst !!!!

While I feel that he is a good doctor, and did a great job with injections... His prices are crazy. He does drug testing (which is fine) but the cost was over $4000 for the drug test alone. I had no clue that drug test could be so expensive... And he wants to do that monthly. No thank you. when I said I didn't want to get addicted to narcotics, the receptionist looked at me and said why are you here?
