Lazy and incompetent
Lazy and incompetent are the only two words to describe Sean J. Wollaston, MD.Went for help with a chronic condition after being referred by a friend. After seeing his website promising expertise in many rheumatology fields, I was confident he would try to diagnose and treat my condition.Office visit went like this.....I Explained my pain and concerns in a concise exact description. He conducted a rushed exam and told me he had no idea what was going on. Told me to keep taking ibuprofen and goodbye. I asked if he had any tests or anyone else he could refer me to and the answer was nope.Fast forward 3 months.... After telling my ucla gastroenterologist what was going on, he gave me a quick guess what was happening and referred me to a good rheumatologist who also wasn't positive what causing my pain but he ran blood tests and referred me to a muscle neurologist and bingo a few blood tests and I have a definitive diagnosis. That is the proper way to care for patients.

Informed caring professional!
I've been seeing Dr. Wollaston for approx. 1.5 yrs. He's caring in his approach and informed on the latest treatments for my polymyalgia rheumatica. I never wait more than a few minutes and never feel rushed. He and his staff follow up with test results and insurance authorizations in a timely manner. No complaints... he's a great doctor!

Would NOT recommend. Seemed uninterested in my problems or symptoms, asked a couple of basic questions, said he couldn’t do anything for me and walked out without trying to help alleviate my pain or make any determination on what it might be. His reception was more caring and helpful. I’d look for someone else if you’re looking for a sympathetic ear.

He is knowledgeable, compassionate, gentle, and very good about making sure my pain is adequately treated. He has been instrumental in helping me avoid joint damage from my RA, OA, degenerative disc disease, and osteoporosis and he does not push me to take prolia or other treatments I am reluctant to try, being open to alternative medicine. I adore him and I recommend him often

I have been seeing Dr. Wollaston for years. I have severe pain due to fibromyalgia and now increasing arthritis pain. Honestly he is my angel. He listens and asks how I think my combination of meds are working. I do feel like he cares. He is willing to let me try things I suggest, and if they work we add them to my regimen. When I started to see him I honestly felt I might have to go on disability. That was almost ten years ago. I am still working at a very physical job. I’m very thankful.

He was not thorough. He didn't do anything beyond a quick look see to stay on top of my rheumatoid arthritis. I reminded him to get x-rays. At an appointment, one of his nurses grumbled about being sick. This infuriated me due to the fact that most people who come to his office have an autoimmune disease that puts us at greater risk for getting sick. Plus, it's insulting for a nurse to be complaining about their health to someone who's in a doctor's office for a chronic condition.

Dr. Wollaston has been treating me for the past four months, and he has been great. He spends time with me and answers all my questions during my appointments with him. He also always returns my calls and answers all my questions over the phone. I attend my appointments with my husband, and we both noticed that Dr. Wollaston is very knowledgeable in his field. I am happy he is my doctor and highly recommend him.

Dr, Wollaston is a great doctor, His bedside manner is excellent and thorough. He found my problem right away and gave me the appropriate medication. Dr Wollaston is a kind and empathetic doctor, something you need when you are in pain. Most importantly this doctor actually listens. The building and his office is easy to find and parking is conveniently available in underground facility.
