Very Disappointed and still Bleeding
Not To Be Trusted. Always get a second opinion.Dr Sean Tirney (an albuquerque, New Mexico based Presbyterian Hospital provider) refused to follow a logically prescibed emergency room doctor's diagnosis and recomended course and prescribed treatment to treat my ER diagnosed enlarged prostate related UTI with viable profesionall prescribed five day antibiotics as the first step in treating Blood in my Urine. Doctor Sean Tirney insisted we begin with a number of expensive inpatient and invasive procedures in the Albuquerque Presbyterian Hospital after a full week of guinea pig, testing' probing with an suddenly aggravated and aggressive bedside manner. Dr Tirney also threatened me with insurance recommendations of nonpayment that he would personally sue me for and that he could circle the wagons and convince the insurance company to not cover all of his many prescribed test, which resulted in no definitive, diagnosis or viable treatment of my condition.

Dr. Sean Tirney, Cedar Urology kept me waiting for him in his office for 2 hours. He did not show up for my appointment on Dr. Martin Luther King's birthdayin 2024. He never called to see what my problem involved. I was given an apptwith another urologist but when I showed up at Presbyterian Hospital ,Cedar urology I was told the urologist that I was given an appt. with would not see another doctor's patient. I had waited a month for this appt and no onecalled to say that urologist would not see me. I saw Anna who was a PA,and she said that she would try to get me another urologist to remove thelarge kidneystone and she wondered why Dr. Tirney had not removed it when Ifirst saw him in July 2023. The kidneystone on my left kidney has caused thearea to become swollen and irritated. There was blood in urine when Anna looked at the urine dipstick test. Brown urine. I left Cedar Urology realizingthat I was just another number for Dr. Tirney to have to deal with and thathe did me

I had several contacts with Dr Tirney regarding a needed urology procedure. I was unable to use him because his communication was a bit rough hewn, bordering on arrogance, to a degree that unsettled me and caused a lack of faith/trust. He may be an excellent physician but the way he communicates is inconsistent with what would normally be expected in my opinion. I'm a senior, and have dealt with many doctors for many serious surgeries/procedures.

Dr. Tirney saved my life on 3 occasions. Twice performing surgeries to eliminate cancerous growth. On the third occasion he consulted a trauma team saving my life once again. To this day, twelve years cancer free, I can see his face. I thank him for for life and want any reader to know you are in life saving hands. Lastly, Dr. Tirney, I still get regular yearly exams ??. Thank you for everything!
