Best Doctor I have had.
Dr Peterson listens to my concerns. He also communicates through the patient portal. If you adjust medication he will check on you to make sure it is going the right direction.

If you are looking for a doctor to listen but not actively intake what you are trying to explain as well as actively overlook the obvious factors and focus solely on one flaw in your daily life.. hes your guy. He is a very friendly doctor I’ll give him that, but he doesn’t seem to know what to do or how to handle things when it comes to something more than a minor or basic diagnosis/condition. BUT Foothill Family Clinic in general? TERRIBLE FACILITY to go too. I WOULD NOT recommend the Draper and the South Clinic in Cottonwood Heights to anyone. They are very rude and come across as making you feel less than. They don’t care about their patients. And when it comes to a insurance issue due to the insurance not being billed properly they are very quick to freeze your status where you can make an appointment. They have royally left my life in turmoil due to no refills on scripts and ongoing undetermined issues because I am choosing to no longer see this terrible Clinic.

Don't choose a provider because they happen to be in-network or geographically close to your home. Read the reviews. I'm not surprised that this clinic doesn't even have 3 stars. I am giving them a generous 1. They are highly-disorganized and lack tact. Their communication and follow-up are adolescent in nature. Take your health to a firm that cares, for Foothill will fail you.

He was so nice and sat with me and asked me if I had any questions. I love that he didn’t make me feel bad about anything. A great overall doctor.

I have been shopping for a primary care physician, and I think I found him. I saw Dr. Sean Peterson for the first time today at the Foothill Family Clinic in Draper on the advice of a friend. He was very attentive to my concerns and listened with respect to my rant about sleep apnea. He made suggestions to help mitigate the concerns I brought to his attention, and he shared the science behind his reasoning. Dr. Peterson was professional, articulate, and caring. His staff was efficient, kind, and experienced. Dr. Peterson provided a list I can work on and reference long after the appointment is over. Thank you, Dr. Peterson!

His nurse or receptionist was very snippity. No one called me when my vitamin b12 was low. I waited for two weeks. I just didn’t feel well....still don’t. Some doctors don’t think you know anything about your body.
