Dr Meiner did my lower back surgery back in December 22 and a another wash out surgery on March 23 He is the best surgeon of the lumbar spine and is a down to earth guy who relates to issues instead of blowing them off. He tells you the straight truth and doesn’t he’s haw around things I would follow this man across the country if a issue occurred and need a neurosurgeon He has an outstanding background. My partner likes how he addresses the issues and relates to the patient and his family as if he was having the issue fixed by surgery. Thank you Dr Meiner from tackling the lower spinal issues I had lived with for years

Dr Meiner saved my life after getting shot !!!!
Dr Meiner was my attending neurosurgeon in Orlando on May 2022 when i was a victim of a car jack attempt at 11am, where i was shot over 30 times and hit 6 times including 1 in the head by a young kid high on drugsDr Meiner saved my life, he never gave up on me, even though there was a huge mistake done that my ct scan was read incorrectly and someone said that i had multiple bullet fragments instead of a whole bullet lodged in my brainFor days i was complaining of head aches and they kept giving memorphine, one day i fell on my room in ICU and that created a hemorrhage and that was when Dr Meiner did craniectomy on me and he discovered that i actually had the entire bullet still lodged in my brain.I am and will be eternally grateful with Dr Meiner, he never ever gave up on me. I was extremely sad when i learned that he had moved up north. As soon as i get another insurance i will do the trip to see him at his new practiceThank you Dr Meiner

Desperately seeking our surgeon
I cannot speak well enough about this surgeon. He operated on my son after an accident where he broke 4 vertebrae. We are desperately trying to find him as we just found out he is no longer at the practice in Orlando. Please, please, share if anyone finds out his current practice location. God bless him always and I hope all is well with him.

Excellent Doctor!
Where is Dr Meiner? Why is he still listed on Orl Healthcare’s site since he has been gone for months? Is there a legal agreement that his new location will not be posted for a specific amount of time. There are other excellent surgeons in the Neurology dept but, they evidently have a backlog of patients.

Top Notch Dr
I met Dr. Meiner in 2021. From the first moment we met and during my visit I continued to get more comfortable and knew I had chosen a doctor w/a bedside manner that was helping me to relax & feel safe & to trust him w/ preforming my back fusion. He cared and took the time explaining what my MRI was showing & in detail shared every step of the surgery I needed. Any future questions I had during & after my back fusion (L3-5) was surprisingly answered by a call from Dr Meiner himself. He took the time to see me in pre-op & to discuss in detail w/ my daughter in the waiting room. My overall rating of Dr Meiner is A+ x’s 100 & the PA Saleim & Patrick spent quality time & went out of their way to care for me. Michelle his nurse was always available to answer questions & stayed on the task at hand to the finish & was always pleasant. Trusting a Dr is often not so easy but the front desk to everyone along the way to meeting Dr Meiner deserve a huge Thank u for being “One in a Million”!

Original I was scheduled to do surgery with a different surgeon, lucky I was transferred to dr Meiner. My neck surgery went beyond my expectations, I was terrified that he might cut through some nerves in the process, but to my surprise he is a master at what he does the recovery was fast and the pain was to a minimum most of the times I didn’t have any pain and didn’t even need pain meds. Thank you Dr for a job well done.

I could not speak any higher of Dr. Meiner! He has magic hands and a brain of gold. He has by far the BEAT bedside manner of ANY doctor I’ve ever met. He takes so much time with his patients and you can just truly tell he cares and loves what he does. It takes a special kind of doctor to care the way he does. He didn’t know the answer to a question I had (which wasn’t his department) and he went above and beyond to contact other MDs and the company to get an answer for me. I had an ifuse for sacroilitis and I am so happy to report after 2 years of being told I may just have to deal with the pain...DR. MEINER HAS FIXED ME! I feel like I can not give enough praise to this doctor! If you have a chance to see him, he is the best neurosurgeon I’ve ever seen (and I’ve seen several)! I can’t thank him enough for giving me my life back!

Dr Meiner really cares about his patients and it shows in everything he does. He performed two cervical spine surgeries on me ( 2017and 2019) while I was in the Navy. He greatly improved my mobility and quality of life. My neck has never felt better. He always took the time to explain everything to me and my wife. He was always honest and upfront about the risks and expected outcomes. The Navy lost one its best Neurosurgeons when he transitioned to civilian practice. God blessed me to have such a great surgeon. I highly recommend Dr Meiner. Todd Lewis, Tampa, FL

Dr. Meiner saw me after a bad trip and fall left me with a fractured neck and dislodged instrumentation from a previous surgery. I was admitted to ICU and he ordered traction before surgery. Every step of the way he explained what he was doing and why. My daughter is a nurse, and had lots of questions ... he called her and told her details and answered all her questions....amazing. The surgery was long and very involved, lots of nuts and bolts and fusion from C2 to T3. I cannot say enough about Dr. Meiner. He is kind, funny, gifted, and takes the time to answer questions. I could have died from this fall .. but I didn't, and I thank Dr. Meiner for that.

I was in the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life for approximately over 30 days. I had been seen by a number of doctors and had a lot of tests run. This is the only doctor who knew exactly what was going on. He had me scheduled for surgery in less than 24 hours and I was back on my feet within about 8 hours of having the surgery. He did a phenomenal job!

Dr. Meiner, I mean what could I say? In all my years in the Navy he was the only one who had taken the time to really look at my case when I came to the ER one night. He looked at my MRI and got me into surgery as soon as he could! During my recovery he was always available to listen and be helpful! He is probably the best neurosurgeon that you could find and I’m thankful for him everyday.
