Dr. Sean McAdams, MD

This dr came into the hospital very early on a Sunday morning to do an emergency kidney stone removal. It was my first kidney stone and Dr McAdams did an excellent job. I am grateful I went to Bellin and was treated quickly.

I am a 60-year-old male who was diagnosed with slow-growth Prostate Cancer. I had the good fortune of meeting Dr. McAdams, who, in July of 2022, performed my Prostate Removal Surgery. Throughout the entire process, Dr. McAdams educated me on all the options available and guided me through each step. Not only does Dr. McAdams keep current with all the latest technological advances in the surgical specialty, but he went above and beyond to ensure that my recovery progresses as quickly as possible. I recommend Dr. McAdams highly and would only see him for my Urology Specialty needs.

Dr. McAdams was very professional in his approach to my problem. Was very complicated to correct, but he handled it well and with success! Would recommend him to anyone with problems in this field of medicine.

I'm a male in my 70's who was diagnosed with benign--something or other--I'm n to a medical professional so I'll use the lay term, enlarged prostate. I had not sought medical treatment because I had so many friends who had been "helped" with this condition who ended up wearing diapers and/or with a complete lack of sexual function. It may come as a shock to those under 60 who assume that lack of sexual function is the norm after 70--it isn't! I was getting up to pee every hour and a half at night, so I made an appointment to see Dr. McAdams figuring that if I din't like what he said I could just fire him. He recommended a newer procedure where you are anesthetized, catheterized, and live steam is shot into the bladder/prostate, again, not a medical professional so I'm a little unclear about the internal plumbing, but I had the procedure and after about six months my recovery is complete. No diapers and the sex is great--thank you very much!
