Pain does not matter
I went to ER last night to get treatment for what I thought could have been an immediate fracture or broken ankle. I was going to do laundry when I stepped into a patch of deeper grass and felt something pop on the lower region of my left ankle. This happened at around 9:40 PM, it was the most severe pain I have experienced in my life. 'We do not prescribe NARCOTICS for an ankle sprain'. Really? Is that so? All injuries are grouped into categories by which pain management is deduced like fast food menu items? Huh, but the really funny thing is I NEVER ASKED ONCE FOR ANYTHING 'NARCOTIC' just for something better than ibuprofen. Such as diflunisal, etodolac, fenoprofen or indomethacin. I looked him dead in the face after and told him that I wasn't demanding 'NARCOTICS' and then the man simply walks away from me, to which I suggested that if his ego is so easily bruised maybe working in an ER isn't the best place for him. Of course after this my patient notes indicated that I was abusive!

Doctor completely missed my diagnosis. I was sent home with drugs that did not help. Still had pain the next day. He referred me to specialist who was able to resolve the issue. Only thing I received from Dr. Weisenborn were high medical bills. I don't mind the bills if doctor provides relief. But instead I was provided unnecessary test(cat scan) and a knee strap. When I visited the orthopedic specialist he indicated this knee strap not needed.
