Great physician. Easy to talk to and work with and provides all the relevant information about procedures including what to expect pre, during, and post procedure.

Unfortunately, I had to have prostate removal surgery. Fortunately I had Dr. Tobis as my surgeon. Everything went great and I had been prepared for everything every step of the way by Dr. Tobis. Professional, courteous, and compassionate.

Routine prostate surgical procedure.

I am a 68-year-old male with a prostate problem--rather I was as I no longer have a problem. On my initial visit with Dr. Tobis he explained my options after tests to diagnose the symptoms I was troubled with and we agreed a TURP procedure was best. He was very clear about the nature of the surgery and what results I could expect from it. It was scheduled for the following month and went very well; the post-surgery recovery was just as he had laid out to me and my recovery was complete. The surgical staff was very attentive including the nurse who attended to me overnight at the clinic. The total process from initial exam to recovery was a period of about 6 months and I could not be happier with the results and the care I received from Dr. Tobis. He is highly recommended.

Very knowledgable, thorough and nice guy. I really appreciate his efforts on my behalf, regarding my prostate cancer diagnosis, discussion of treatment alternatives, robotic prostatectomy, and subsequent followup visits.

I enthusiastically endorse Dr. Tobis and staff. I suffered with BPH for over 20 years and was treated by five urologists, tried medication, had a Urolift proceedure and was still getting up four to six times per night. Dr. Tobis performed a TURP proceedure on me two years ago and I am now asymtomatic. I am grateful for what Dr. Tobis did for me, my life is much better now.

[Surprising side note, my doctor here had run a further test that indicated immediate treatment was required]. Dr. Tobis and the staff at the laboratories and radiology showed compassion, care, and kindness while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and a very high skill set. After the surgery, he shows compassion and kindness. He took his time with me to explain everything that would happen throughout my recovery. He was very personable and real with me. I want you to know the extraordinary dedicated professional staff that goes up and beyond to accommodate while showing incredible kindness and compassion. It is no wonder why Samson Clinic is one of the top medical clinics in the world.

I had nothing but a positive experience with Dr. Tobis and his team. I would recommend him highly.

Until today I had rated Dr. Tobis a 5 Star. Last 2 visits (includes today) I noticed SLIGHT changes in service, etc... . THIS time? I was 100% FORGOTTEN in the waiting room!!! I DID register with receptionist. SO? HOWWWW can anyone "forget" a patient? Answer is NOT important. What IS important is how telling of a decline this practice SEEMS to have suffered.

The entire office and surgical team were a pleasure to meet and work with. The process went very smoothly, from getting initial appointments through recovery. As for the procedure performed; there was no residual swelling nor any significant pain. I am very happy with Dr Tobis' work, and won't hesitate to recommend him to others that need the same procedure.

After getting to know Dr. Tobis as a patient for the last couple of years, I think I'm well qualified to opine on his outstanding professionalism and commitment to patient care and well being. He is a caring person who clearly is at the top of his game in his chosen field. His ability to communicate the good and the bad but with unwaverig empathy is greatly appreciated. In the old days they called that great "bedside manner". He is not only very good at articulating the nature of medical conditions and the range of treatment options and outcomes, but he thoughtfully is able to do it in layman's terms, which greatly facilitates patient engagement and sense of well being. Simply said, Dr. Tobis is very good at what he does and I highly recommend him to you and yours.

Dr. Tobis was very thorough when dealing with my prostate cancer diagnosis, he took his time explaining procedures, and was patient when answering my questions. He gave all the options for moving forward and I feel I made the right decision in choosing radical prostatectomy. The surgery went better than I thought it could have. Dr. Tobis said the surgery was successful, and I'd have to agree. My recovery is ahead of schedule and my side effects are very minimal, I attribute that to Dr. Tobis's expertise.

Doctor Tobis is one of those rare doctors who takes a genuine interest in his patients. He removed a cancerous tumor from my bladder a few months ago and I have had no problems since. I would highly recommend Dr. Tobis to anyone needing urological care.
