Fantastic Primary Care Doc
Been seeing Dr. Talpers for a few months now and have nothing but good things to say. Seasoned doc and a nice person. I had been searching for a new primary care physician and am thrilled to have found one who will genuinely listen. I get that healthcare is a business, but I have never felt rushed during our appointments. Dr. Talpers actually takes the time to listen to your concerns instead of trying to rush you out the door, which I sincerely appreciate. I know when I see Dr. Talpers that I'm getting the highest quality care in the area. I *highly* recommend this doctor.

I'd give negative stars if I could
This is a Dr who thinks he knows all. I just moved to the area and saw him once. Only once!!! I didn't agree with his treatment plan and only got the run around with his "message board." I went my own route and saw a different Dr at St Luke's. This Dr told me what Dr Talpers put in my chart. That I'm a difficult patient who has gone against his medical advice. He has never asked for my medical records from my previous Dr's. I'm 53. I know my medical history. He does not. He made an assumption about me. Please be an advocate for your own health. Dr's are not God. We should be able to disagree with our Dr's without fear of them adding nasty remarks in our file so now all Dr's will think you are difficult. Stand up for your own health. I'm sure this will go in my chart too. My recommendation is stay very far away from this Dr. Talpers. He should have gotten my previous records before speaking. Again, don't be afraid to stand up for yourself! It's our health. Not theirs!!
