My doctor I never met
Following the closure of my surgeon’s practice, Dr. Stanley was on the list of follow-on care doctors that my surgeon mentioned. I’ve been to see Dr. Stanley two times and both times only saw his PA. I’ve had two diagnostic tests performed “under his care”, one confirming a pinched nerve in my neck. Both tests were ordered by his PA, and guess what, zero interaction with Stanley. His PA relayed to me that Dr. Stanley didn’t see anything wrong with my neck and that I could schedule an appointment to see him if I wanted. No concern at all that I’m in seriously pain and have ridiculous numbness in my fingers and hand. Reminds me of medical care when I was in the military. Terrible bed side manner. I’ve seen doctors like him before. They only want to work with acute patients. I’ll be getting a second opinion and not going back to Dr. Stanley. I do not recommend. Save your money.

Dr. Stanley did not respect our time.
Never showed up for my appointment. No explanation from the staff and no one cared.

Best Orthopedic Surgeon
I was very fortunate in finding Dr. Stanley to do my lower back surgery. It was a very extensive surgery on my lower back requiring fusion of several vertebrae. He took excellent care in doing the surgery as well as follow up. He’s very experienced, very compassionate, very personable, and I would recommend Dr. Stanley to anyone who is thinking of having surgery done anywhere on their spine. I can’t offer enough praise for Dr. Scott Stanley.

I had a micro discectomy from Dr. Scott Stanley. He never stopped by to see me after the surgery to tell me how it went or if there were any problems. On my two-week appointment to remove my staples, it was not Dr Stanley, but his assistant who removed the staples and met with me. When I told of the pain and increased issues I was having, she was apathetic. She seemed very untrained, unprepared, and didn’t seem to even care. I ask her if I could see Dr Stanley to talk about my pain and issues, she said, “He doesn’t do that”. I ask if she could have him at least call me, she came back with the same clinical response, ”He doesn’t do that.” For four weeks I could not get Dr. Stanley to see me or talk to me. The pain and nerves issues got so bad, I had to go see my primary Doctor. He was appalled and immediately ordered an MRI. The results showed the same a bulging disk pressing on my nerve bundle, causing the nerve issues in my leg. Four months since my surgery, and I am worse o

Dr. Stanley is perhaps the funniest, kindest and most attentive surgeon I've ever met! He attended to my mother, who was in desperate need of spinal surgery. He asked lots of questions and listened to her needs. He was very informative with me about her post-surgical results. I would highly recommend Dr. Stanley for his excellent staff, his positive attitude and his outstanding skill level.

Dr. Stanley performed a spinal fusion L5-S1 April 2017. I had significant stenosis and nerve pain in my right - completely gone when I woke up from surgery and I have been pain free ever since. I had a prior laminectomy procedure by a different orthopedic surgeon that did not work and was a waste of time. Dr. Stanley was like radar - he zeroed in on the problem, explained in detail the procedure and scheduled my surgery. He, the staff were caring and compassionate. Simply the BEST!

I call Dr Stanley my Miracle Maker. I could barelywalk for 6 months. I had multiple spinal issues. Dr Stanley fixed everything and my quality of life is beyond my expectations. But the main thing after being under his care for the last 9 months....he truly is one of the best human beings. Period.

I had severe pain and limited movement in my neck which made working, sleeping and leisure time miserable. I contacted Dr. Stanley and explained my symptoms, went in for an exam and an MRI. Dr. Stanley diagnosed the problem and made suggestions for treatment. I selected to have surgery and now 6 months later I am pain free, I have my movement back and I sleep great again . I am more than happy with the treatment and Dr. Stanley's professional care. I feel GREAT ! I would recommend Dr. Stanley.

I can't recommend Dr. Stanley highly enough. Not only is he an excellent doctor, but he is caring and compassionate too. I had been having lower back problems for over a year and seen several orthopedic and neuro doctors. They ran tests and performed some non-surgical procedures, but none of them took the time to really LISTEN to my story. My medical problem was much worse that what the MRI showed, and Dr. Stanley did a great job of getting me patched-up. Go see Dr. Stanley first!

CrossFit injuries resulted in failed neck fusion from a previous surgeon and no disc left at L5, S1. After much consultation with Dr. Stanley we started with a successful revision of my neck. A year later, all options exhausted, we moved forward with a fusion of L5, S1. I don't say this lightly, Dr. Stanley has changed my life. The only thing exceeding his bedside manner and genuine concern for my wellbeing is his surgical skill. I will forever be indebted to this gifted and amazing Doctor.

Dr. Stanley performed a spinal fusion L5-S1 April 2010 and I have been pain free ever since. This was a condition that most likely was genetic and after seeing my grandmother never leave her chair- I was not going to end up the same. Dr. Stanley was warm, caring and very supportive. The follow up appointments were scheduled efficiently and I never had to wait for more than a few minutes. Sept 2016 saw me back in their office with a torn meniscus in my left knee, same level of excellent care

Good explanation beforehand for T-region fusion and very good experience overall--until after the surgery. Experiencing back pain(s) due to installed screws/hardware. Had therapeutic injections: first time, no relief, second time, great relief! Called same day of injections and left a msg with med asst to see, "okay, what's next"--"do I need a followup appt for next shots?" After no response (and 15 days) I called back to inquire. Told I left no msg. I'm off to find another doctor.

By far the WORST experience I have ever had at a doctors office. Never see Dr. Stanley. They are very rude and they do not follow-up even after three weeks of my calling them to figure out what was taking so long. THREE WEEKS! They scheduled me for an appointment that I did NOT confirm with them, then refused to see me saying I missed an appointment. I don't know how I can miss an appointment that I did not schedule or confirm, but somehow I did and now I have to find a new doctor.
