Dr. Smith is extremely thorough and kind every time I come in for an appointment. He is calm and patient and gives me a detailed description or diagnosis of my condition. I find Dr. Smith very trustworthy and an absolute expert in his field. I loved the atmosphere of his office, and I will continue to recommend him to everyone I know in need of an eye physician.

Dr. Scott Smith literally saved my life!! I had a “vision” problem and he saw me ASAP! Then Immediately saw I was having a stroke. Got me to the hospital in a few minutes. After three weeks in the ICU, hospital and rehab, I was 100%!!!! Still am two years later. The staff is wonderful too!! They are like one big caring family!!! None better!!! Jack Burgess

From the first friendly "welcome" to the "good-bye", I loved everything about my visit! Dr. Smith and his staff were very thorough and receptive. The atmosphere is excellent and the music choice is so diverse. I was quite entertained by Engelbert Humperdinck-Release Me, followed by Lynyrd Skynyrd-Gimme Three Steps. Fantastic.

Dr. Smith cares about his patients and takes time to explain even complicated issues with them. I have found him trustworthy and extremely knowledgeable about his field. If you are looking for an eye doctor in the Waco area who will take care of you and help you see better, it's Dr. Smith. You won't regret it!

Dr. Smith himself treated me personally with an attitude of dislike and condemnation. He spoke not at all at his entry into the examination room, nor during his examination of my eyes. I finally asked, 'will I live?'; his response was short and blunt, 'you need glasses'. That was the extent of our conversation. His attitude made me feel as though I had greatly offended him by coming to his office.
