Dr. Scott Redrick, MD

Walked into the clinic this morning for my first appointment. Looked around and then walked out. Waiting room full. Standing room only. People finding it difficult to get in and close the door behind them. Absolutely no one wearing a mask. Neither patients or staff. I have leukemia. I’ve had the Covid vaccine. However, I’ve been told by my hematologist at Moffitt Cancer Center that until I receive my personal results from a broad study I participated in shows I have developed antibodies, I must continue to take all precautions. Me alone wearing a mask is not taking precautions. Dr. Redrick’s services include not only medical marijuana… which is needed by many cancer patients and those with autoimmune disorders, but also weight loss and gynecology. What I witnessed today was reckless and unprofessional. It would appear that money takes precedence over health.

Took my 18 yr old daughter for her first pap. Was told when he opened the door that I , her mother,had to get out. And the look in his eye? Afterwards, when my daughter came out and we walked outside, she was crying and said that the Dr. was rough and fast and hurt her. I am soooo beyond pissed right now and it won’t stop with this review! I can tell you that! Her first visit was scary enough and you made it worse! Other than the doctor himself, the staff was very sweet. But I wonder, with the look I saw in his eye, what they put up with? Or was he just having a bad day? When I tell you that every patient came out within 5 minutes too? What are we herding cattle here? And the patients came out with their significant other also. Why was I, as her mother, told to GET OUT. Oooooh I’m beyond upset. Can you tell?

Was told the 1st class FAA physical was one rate and charged more than double. Nobody in the office can get on the same page. When my Airline employer kicked back the bill, could not reimburse since their chintzy “word document” receipt did not match services rendered, this office refused to give me a new receipt to submit or help in anyway. Redrick cursed me out by phone, told me never to come back but come pick up my hundred dollars and hung up the phone slammed it down without even allowing a rebuttal. Most unprofessional. Shocking. Would never use this doctor for any services again ever.

Every visit Dr. Redrick always explains everything so I understand. Always able to get an appointment right away when needed.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He forgets you, doesn't review notes that help him to remember you or your sensitivities. Not very caring as an OBGYN. Asks inappropriate, insensitive questions about your sex life that have already been addressed, and have nothing to do with the procedure being performed. He doesn't make sure you are comfortable and handles patients roughly. He forgets that he isn't performing on a practice dummy, but the real thing and is rough and rude.

Wonderful doctor, very kind and caring, takes time to listen and explain everything. Nurse and all office staff very friendly.

I was a first time patient for a pap test. Dr was extremely rough using no lubricant on his instrument and turning it to the point it really hurt. The balance of his exam was very quick hurtful and caused an area which was bleeding when I left. Will not return. Total time of visit might have been 4 minutes.
