Dr. Scott Otto, MD

dr. Otto was the on-call physician when I came to the ER at around 11 PM. He was patient with me listened explained to the process what would happen and performed a pretty invasive procedure on the spot. I thought he was great and I’m very thankful that he’s willing to be on call and help strangers. The entire team at the hospital was fabulous.

Although I did not have surgery, Dr Otto followed me during my in patient stay. He was kind and empathetic and that means a lot when you’re in a situation that is new and confusing.

Being myself a primary care physician, I always try to find the best specialists for my patients. I am referring most of my surgical patients to Dr. Scott Otto, and I always get an outstanding feedback from my patients , as a talented surgeon, and a wonderful person. Till last month, when I referred my sister for a major surgery of resecting a colon cancer. I had then a first hand experience of this talented exceptional surgeon, and a carteous, passionate person. Dr.Otto is such an amazing surgeon. He has such a calming approach, that makes a patient feel comfortable and feel at ease. I will always be grateful for his care.

My wife and I are so thankful to have Dr. Otto as her surgeon. He is compassionate, cares for his patients and their family and is well liked by the hospital staff. Dr. Otto’s confidence puts his patients and their family at ease. He is thorough in his explanations and will answer all of your questions. Nobody wants to have surgery but if you need surgery I cannot imagine any surgeon that can exceed his exceptional qualities.

My son had a total of 5 surgeries and Dr otto being the last and best. Very patient with our concerns and we appreciate his sense of humor. Would suggest him for anyone needing a surgeon. I'm just sorry we didnt find him sooner... can't say enough good things about him.

Dr Otto is an excellent dr. He explains everything in normal terms, answers all questions and responds quickly even on weekends. He does not dismiss my concerns and truly listens. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for great attention and a dr who truly cares about his patients.

Dr. Otto is a great surgeon. He spends as much time with each individual patient as needed. Some times it does mean there is a wait but his expertise and desire to be sure his patients understand all options and aspects of surgery is well worth the wait!

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Otto. He was calm, patient and understanding. During a subsequent follow-up call, he spent quite a bit of time with me. He listened to my concerns and answered my questions in a thoughtful manner.

bait and switch. do not go here. confirmed that they can do procedure in the office, went to have done, was told they NEVER do that in the office, and charged us for a consultation fee vs just office visit. Would pay an office visit fee, not a consultation fee, difference of co-pay vs $400 in fees insurance would not cover.

Both Dr, Otto AND his staff are very nice and very efficient. He is extremely personable and available. He explained the procedure very well and the wound is healing nicely. There was only a 10-15-minute waiting period. THANKS!

Treated us like dirt. Don't go to this guy. There's more to being a doctor than knowing how to cut stuff. Needs social skills.

He's kind of a jerk. I wouldn't want to interact with him again.

Dr. Otto was fantastic from the initial appointment until my final appointment. He thoroughly explained all the potential causes of my pain and quickly pinpointed it. Communicating with his staff was easy and pleasant. Test results showed a potentially larger problem and I was in surgery within 4 days of testing. He was also very detailed when explaining the surgery I'd be having. Highly recommend Dr. Otto and will definitely use him again in the future if such a need arises.

Dr Otto is a great doctor - answered all my questions/concerns during my time in the hospital as well as all the follow-up appointments. Would definitely return should I need surgery in the future.
