He saved me from dying during a “catastrophic event” when I was in the hospital. He also had an attitude of “there are no limits on recovery”. I’d like to show him how far that helped me heal. Way farther than anyone thought. Not 100%-we aren’t talking miracles- but he gave my family room to believe and they pushed it-just as far as you can go which in turn helped me get through my entertainment-and I’m thankful he was my critical care doctor. He saved my life more ways than one. Other people deserve credit but he was leading the band. I want him as my pulmonary doctor from now on-he gets the journey . My Dr is retiring- i didn’t want to leave him because it’s a weird sense of loyalty my generation has even if the fit isn’t good. My family dr said Dr. Merriman only does critical care. Not going to argue that choice but would be sad if I can’t call him my doctor now. Can’t answer the rest of your questions because he was there when i needed my life saved-not an appointment-but I’m hoping those are real questions so I can be that person
