Horrible Experience with Pain Mgmt Doctor
I’ve suffered from chronic pain for 10 years with no diagnosis. I recently had a pain pump implanted. . After my first visit with Scott Masson I had a sudden, intense flare up of pain. He told me I looked awful, and asked if I’d Ever gone through opiod withdrawal-this was not possible since I had prescopiods I planned to go to a specialty clinic in Boston but they estimated that the earliest appt. Would be in Feb. I needed a referral & pain management in the form of a nerve block & for him to check my pain pump for a malfunction. Dr. Masson said there was nothing wrong with the pump but he didn’t check it with a monitor or in any way. He told me he would write the referral but never did. He told me to go to my GI doc but 8 GI docs they can’t help me. He told me to go the ER. I did, but the nurse and med. asst. had no idea how to help me and the pain meds they gave me didn’t work. Masson lacks empathy and He violated his oath to do no harm. He dropped me as a patient with no explanation

Excellent Pain Management Specialist
I have been under Dr Masson’s care for more than a year. He has performed several procedures to help alleviate lower back pain as well as cervical joint pain. In all instances, he has gone to the 9th degree in his attempts to locate source of pain in order to resolve it. He is compassionate, caring and listens to every word. He also understands how important it is to some patients to be included in their care plan by explaining all options to be sure everything is understood. I don’t know what I would do without Dr Masson. He is an integral part of managing my chronic pain.

Dr. Masson is excellent! I recently had a medical emergency (stroke). He was one of the physicians on my team for care. Dr. Masson's bedside manner is great. I was very scared in that I am in my mid-40's and a stroke was not on my radar given that I do not have high blood pressure, diabetes or high blood pressure.. He explained every procedure that I encountered as well as what the plan of action was for me. Dr. Masson is skilled and knowledgeable. I highly reccommend him for care
