Dr. Scott Langford, MD

I was recommended to Rockhill Orthopedic by a close friend. I had high hopes in having my pain and discomfort addressed. I was scheduled with Dr. Langford. I have seen him now 3 times to address my pain. Each time my pain and concerns have been dismissed. 1st time, Dr. Langford literally drew lines and xd out the MRI report. He said it basically told him nothing and that I couldn't be having pain where I am, due to my condition. He offered a cortisone injection so I took it. Any relief was better than nothing. I have had 2 more injections over the last year. On my most recent visit, Dr. Langford told me he wouldn't recommend any further treatment and that it would get better on its own or I would just get used to the pain. Really! This was not from an injury! This is from a malformation of my bone structure you idiot! This dr. has no real concern for his patients. Its as if I was an interruption to his day. Never going back.

First, this was not the physician I requested an appointment with when I called. Looked at the x-rays of my injured finger and said, “it is arthritis” (?). Of course there will be inflammation in an injured joint but arthritis did not cause the injury. Offered to do nothing, inject a steroid or do PT….why is PT always a default. I will be making a follow-up appointment with the other physician. I am an HCP myself and am very disappointed.

I got some feeling back in my hands after surgeries on both. He has helped me get some flexibility back in my fingers as well. No more trigger fingers for this guy!! Thank you Dr. Langford.

Dr. Langford is a very seasoned and talented surgeon, his demeanor is very professional and kind. I have complete trust in his treatment of my trigger finger condition. I have been totally satisfied with all services Dr. Langford performed from examination, diagnosis, surgery, and follow up! I can highly recommend his practice if you need treatment for trigger finger! He is very knowledgeable and capable, my experience has been extremely positive!

Dr. Langford did a CMC arthroplasty on my dominant hand due to thumb arthritis. I am very pleased with the results! I am 8 weeks out from surgery and have great motion and flexibility already. I definitely recommend Dr. Langford.

Doctor Langford , removed a small part of the bone from my right pointy finger. The bone of the finger was actually growing and was sore to the touch all the time. He carefully removed the extra part and now I have a normal finger. Looks great and with no loss of feeling or finger print. Amazing Five Star surgeon Thank you, Allen Kellough

Dr. Langford is a great doctor. Very skilled surgeon. I had the trigger release procedure performed 10 days ago and I am so glad I did. My thumb is now fully functional. My 4 stitches were removed today. I could not be happier! Thank you Dr. Langford.

Dr. Langford was such a wonderful doctor to me. He eased my anxiousness about the whole surgical procedure, and his guidance and aftercare was just wonderful. Doctor Langford is the absolute epitome of a caring professional and I am truly blessed to have had him as my doctor.

All personnel are very efficient and prompt. I was checked in and Dr checked my progress. Nurse took out my stitches and I checked out all in 14 mins. They are all very professional and kind and take good care of their patients. I love this office and DO recommend them to everyone who needs their services. Thank you to all who took care of me.

One of the worst clinical experiences I’ve had in years. I broke my wrist and he did not ask if it was my dominant hand, how I was doing mobility wise, nothing. He was in the room maybe five minutes. I hate to say this but from the minute he opened the door I got the impression he’d rather be any where else. I happened to walk out the door with a patient that said she had the same experience. My advice is see anybody but this guy.

Throughout the process Dr. Langford explained every step of the way and was great in getting me back on track.

It was a very easy surgery. I only took one of my pain meds , didn’t need the other five

Have seen Dr Langford a few time due to issues with my R hand. I find Dr Langford to be very short with or without explanation, poor communication skills. Does not offer pain management for a hand that has a 5 cm cyst on wrist and a thumb needing repair. I have had bilateral knee replacements by one of his colleagues and this particular physician was very kind and showed empathy. I have had testing for my wrist which Dr Langford could not recall up into my chart. I, will be locating a new hand surgeon within the KC metro or travel to Denver where my previous hand surgeon practice medicine. Regards

Dr. Langford has been the right doctor for my surgery and follow up visits after i fell and broke my arm. His knowledge, expertise, and compassion are impressive and have helped me tremendously through a complicated experience.

I was treated with surgery and casting for a severe wrist fracture by Dr Langford this summer. He was professional, very knowledgable, & showed concern for my needs. My wrist is healed nicely, and I am able to resume my life activities thanks to him. I would recommend him for anyone needing hand or wrist care.
