Dr. Joy is one of the most thorough doctors I have ever seen. He answers all my questions. He helps you find where you might find the cheapest pharmacy for your prescriptions. He has a great PA that responds to your questions when using the health portal. The office keeps track of any followup visits and you can do televisit if appropriate. Great Doc

Careless doctor comes in and does nothing during every visit I have had with him. He will ask a few questions, feigning concern, but never addresses any of my concerns. Last visit, he came in with another creepy doctor with no explanation, which made me very uncomfortable, and then failed to do anything useful. I have had students who shadow, but normally it is addressed, but not this creeper. He was a DO, not a student, and I never gave consent to have a random adult man present during my private visit. After reluctantly addressing my concerns with vitamin deficiency, he sent for blood-work which they lost all record of, not just lost the lab work but of any records of any blood-work went missing.

I would give zero stars if I could. Not my personal experience but of someone extremely close to me, who was being treated by Dr. Joy. Came in with back pain, thought it was something small ended up finally getting an answer two months later that it was cancer. After the cancer diagnosis we haven't heard from Dr. Joy. Not once to see how things are and to see if your ok. You're left on your own, with no follow up. Very disappointed with the care from Dr. Joy!

Dr. Joy reminds me of doctors who practiced many years ago making you feel his time is yours and he is there to help you. He is a warm and patient listener. I’m glad to have him as my general practitioner.

I have been a patient of Dr. Joys for a little over a year. I think he is a no nonsense, but logical " let's not fix what is not broken" type of doctor. He seems to be current on medical issues, and I would be happy to recommend him.

I e-mailed Dr Joy for a referral to a Specialist and got a reply that same day with offer to schedule n appointment is there was a problem. I have rarely had this response in my 50+ years of asking for information.

I have been a patient of this office for over 15yrs. I was concerned about the follow through of care when Dr. Persoff retired. Dr. Scott Joy has been wonderful with continueing the level of care I expect from this office. I have multiple health issues and am retired from medical field. Dr Joy is a skilled and understanding doctor. You tell him straight and he will be straight with you. Compassion is key. I would recommend Dr Joy and his staff for all of your general medical needs.
