Dr.Scott Isaacs is a very bad Doctor
The first appointment was very bad, Dr. Scott Isaacs did not know anything about my previous results, which were sent to him by my pcp, whom I’ve been seeing for more than two years. Dr. Isaacs did not address any of my concerns, it felt that he was just getting paid for looking at my face. Also, his office overcharged me, I called many times for them to return my money, they never did, until I went to my second appointment. The second appointment was worst, Dr Scott Isaacs was asking me for the results he received from the Imaging Center and lab results that were sent directly to him. I re-sent everything via email, he was complaining about the results being blurry in the paper he was printing. I got the results from their website, but he was saying that they did not receive them. He was raising his voice at me whenever I was trying to talk. He had no knowledge of my previous results, asked me to get more labwork, I tried showing him an ultrasound he did not want to see it...

Horrible experience and unprofessional
I went for hypoglycemia and possible pre-diabetes. He proceeded to tell me that hypoglycemia isn't real for those not diabetic and to ignore my hypoglycemic episodes and that they'd go away eventually. He then put a bunch of items we didn't even discuss in my chart and listed me as a daily smoker when I don't... I don't think he listened to anything i had to say and does not care about treating his patients. As soon as i left the office i booked with a different Endocrinologist.

My visit with Dr. Isaac yesterday was a total waste of time. I had an appointment at 3pm and I was seen by Dr. Isaac at 4pm. No apology for the one hour wait. He told me that all my problems I am having right now is from the medication I am on. I have been taking this medication for 28 years and I have been doing great on it. He didn’t want to do any investigation of what was going on with me. I ask him specific questions about some medication and how it can effect my health. He totally dismissed me and made me feel stupid. Again I am dealing with this disease for 28 years and I know my body pretty well. Don’t waste your time like I did seeing him.

Terrible
He doesn’t care about his patients. Was referred by my primary care doctor. He thought I was stupid for even being there. Listen to the other reviews, I thought maybe they were wrong, but they are not. Do not go see him for any reason!

Please believe the other reviews
All of the reviews left by the other reviewers is true. Dr. Isaacs is the worst Dr and I would definitely not tell anyone to come to him if you’re needing proper treatment or care. He is very unprofessional. He does not bother to explain your diagnosis. He does not have decent bedside manner. He is rude and very abrupt and short, and as the other mention, he will definitely walk out of your with no heads up not finishing your appointment. The clinic is improperly managed. He has a tendency to go overboard our recommendation on treatments and is overly aggressive and medicating patient. He is good though at running diagnostics, but where he falls down is is in his diagnosis and his treatment plans which are not practical and most of the time unnecessary. Avoid at all cost and find a new clinic.

Worst Doctor I’ve Ever Encountered
Scott Isaacs is the most unprofessional and incompetent doctor I have ever had. My primary physician referred me to him after I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This absolute genius then convinced me that I “almost certainly” had type 1 diabetes, a significantly worse prognosis. So after 2 weeks of not getting my test results back, I had to call and beg for my results. Lo and behold, I was type 2. Like previously established. His little ego couldn’t handle that he was wrong so he never told me himself. This is a theme. He got an attitude with me when I told him my prior authorization didn’t go through so my insurance wouldn’t cover the medication and I probably will have to have an alternative. The problem in his mind? “That’s not my department” is what he sneered at me. You’re the doctor. An endocrinologist that’s scared of PAs. It’s unheard of.

Absolutely Horrific Experience
Doctor was an hour and a half late to my appointment and made multiple excuses at to why. The office staff at the front desk blamed the medical assistant, and nobody came to my room to address the extensive delay. As a provider, you need to manage your time appropriately as your patient's time is just as valuable as yours. The doctor offered me no help during this visit essentially and made recommendations that seemed completely medically inappropriate. The practice seems very poorly managed and overcrowded with patients. I will definitely not be going back. The doctor's personality is borderline rude and abrasive. Did not show any true concern to me as a patient.

Dr. Issac's Compliance with Medical Principals
My experience with Dr. Scott Isaacs, MD, an endocrinologist who ordered lab tests for me, fell short of the principles outlined by the American Medical Association and the World Medical Association.* Informed Consent: Following the receipt of abnormal lab results, I didn't hear anything from the doctor about these findings. I was left in the dark about my own health status, which goes against the principle of informed consent. Patients have a right to understand their medical information and make informed decisions about their care.* Timely Communication: Dr. Scott Isaacs, MD, failed to provide timely communication. When I attempted to contact the doctor for an explanation of the results, I was informed that the earliest available appointment was two months away. This delay in communication and access to medical information is concerning and does not align with the timely communication standards expected in medical care.* Clarity and Empathy: Clarity and empathy are fundamental in p

Horrible.
Did not give me my diagnosis or explain what was wrong with me. He ended visit by walking out of exam room. Never told me visit was over. He had come and gone a few times like that. Did not tell me my diagnosis. I had to ask Medical Assistant what my diagnosis was. Medical Assistant secured the name of my diagnosis for me. Medical Assistant explained he was not qualified to explain diagnosis. I requested information on my diagnosis. Doctor refused to explain my diagnosis. Instead he cited his education. There is more….

New Patient - Never going back
PLEASE BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!!!!! I went to the office hopeful that I would find answers regarding my symptoms. This doctor told me I was 'near death' because my levels were low. Of course, that made me anxious. I followed his instructions exactly. There was a medication that required a pre-auth. I called the insurance company several days over the course of days to confirm they had the pre-auth. It wasn't until I actually came in for my appointment that he sent the pre-auth. Then he told me I needed to see a specialist for a different issue and stated he sent the referral. Same issue. I called the office he referred me to several times and they had no referral so I asked him again about it. I was never rude, passive aggressive or any of that and he literally told--this is two days after telling me I was near death--that I needed to go find another office to be seen at because he couldn't handle my "frustrations" (that I never expressed by the way).

Did not offer help
The miscommunication with this office is unbelievable. The DR would not help manage a simple medication change via phone call for prescribed medication that was not covered by insurance. He wanted another office visit in order make this change. Also, they did not have my follow up appointment on record that I made in person before I left my last appointment. I could have attended that appointment within 3 weeks but was forced to wait more than a month for another open appointment. I told the lady what information I wanted relayed to the doctor after this mishap and she accused me of being disrespectful and ordering her around. I did not yell nor use any profanity. I simply told her I’d find another doctor and leave reviews about this experience for other new patients seeking help.

Not good. Been there for at least 20 years and over the last couple of years, his attitude has gotten bad. Condescending and treating me as though I’m ignorant in medications intake. If I mentioned a side effect, I was dismissed and told that side effect wasn’t in the book. Also doesn’t use electronic records so his files are obsolete.

I am absolutely shocked by the poor reviews! It’s the only doctors office I enjoy going to. He is the first doctor to look at my weight as a symptom and not the cause. My weight is an issue especially for pregnancy, but he’s the first doctor that didn’t just say lose weight and send me on my way. He listen, had multiple solutions, and praise me for any of the hard work I did on my own. Even when I praised him in person, he thanked me and made sure to reinforce the fact that I was the one doing the work. His front desk is wonderful, the phlebotomist is the only one that has been able to consistently get blood for me, and the nurses are incredibly kind. His personality is dry, but that does not make him rude. There is a medication he asked if I wanted to try that was an injection, multiple doctors in the past have Wanted me to take it but it was $1400 a month. He is the only doctor that made one phone call that got it preapproved and now it Is completely affordable! I highly Recommend.

Dr. Scott Isaacs is a passable doctor but his office who are responsible for completing prior authorizations for the patient to receive medications have a bad attitude and do not follow through with patient support. When they need to work through the insurance company paperwork, they give up and tell the patient the patient to change doctors, they will do no more. If you want a reliable endocrinology doctor, you need to reject Dr. Scott Isaacs and find a professional caring medical practice.

I've seen Dr. Issacs for years, mainly for PCOS and for low growth hormone. I also am predisposed to thyroid problems. His bedside manner is bad but it has gotten worse through the years. His answer for everything is weight loss, even when it's an issue not weight related. I have asked for help time and time again as I meet symptoms for Srogens but if it doesn't show up on labs it doesn't exist to him. He even gave me a drug that caused excess hair growth and I told him that and he said I didn't know what I was talking about. I took my self off that drug fast. Only saw him for maintenance of meds as I haven't found a new doctor for yet. This last visit was the last straw. He insisted I come in person for this visit since my last visit was telemedicine. He didn't even check my thyroid, he stayed across the room from me the entire time and got aggressive and acted like I was a complete idiot when I didn't understand that he no longer used the same lab to process labs. Stay away.

I was a patient of Dr. Isaacs for a number of years, he kept pushing weight loss medication that upon my own research had a number of side effects. You also need to get blood work 6 weeks after starting this medication. I decided not to fill the prescription and to lose the weight through diet and exercise. I cancelled the follow-up appt for blood work at 6 weeks. This happened twice during my care under Dr. Isaacs. I was successful losing the weight through diet and exercise. He never really made recommendations or educated me on options or my condition, it was more listen to me and push medications and then get blood work. I cancelled the two follow-up appts for blood work only required for a medication I decided not to take and I missed one appointment in 5 years (child was in hospital). He sent me a letter terminating me as a patient. I would not recommend Dr. Isaacs to family or friends

Dr Isaacs was my doctor for years until I moved. He also treated my husband (who was extremely picky when it came to following what a doctor told him was needed - but he listened to Scott because of the time Scott took explaining the conditions and the treatment options. I plan to see Scott soon now that I am back in the area.

I was a patient of Dr. Issacs in 2018-2019. I've been trying to find out why I've been unable to lose weight and was told he was the best. The problem I had with this provider is, he didn't really try to find out the issue. He ran the basic tests and they all came back normal; he asked for my food logs and those were good...then he said I need gastric bypass. I wanted to find out the underlying issue with eating well and exercising and he was like "if that's not working then you need surgery". I didn't appreciate that. I had to suggest tests for him to perform based on my own research because he seemed disinterested in any other option. He was very short, arrogant and came across like I was wasting his time. Needless to say, I never went back.

Hands down the worst doctor I've ever experience. I started seeing Dr. Issacs when I was having difficulty getting pregnant. When I finally did get pregnant, I experienced a miscarriage. He alluded to the fact it was my fault because I did not tell him soon enough I was pregnant so he could adjust my medication dosage. He has horrible bedside manner. I've had MULTIPLE issues with him and his staff on my medication prescriptions. When I discussed these issues with them I was told "it was my problem, we're getting ready to close" and was advised to find a new pharmacy. I would avoid Dr. Issacs and his team at all cost. I haven't been able to control my autoimmune or had one positive interaction.

1. There was no visit , perfectly understandable 2. There were many phone calls including one to me 1 hour before my appointment to which I had scheduled time away from MY customers, to tell me that I couldn't be seen without a primary care doctors records ? so now my morning was wasted to poor organization and communication practices. So I have no appointment and a wasted morning, even if I could get the records , the burden was now on me to unreasonably call my primary care doctor (to which I don't have or didn't know I needed ) within 1 hour of my scheduled appointment. I was happy I was coming in as the staff told me the doctor was excellent. It is often the case that one has to deal with small inconveniences, but the inconsistent unclear message and organization is too abhorrent to deal with in my opinion especially during an ongoing patient / doctor consulting relationship, if you don't want to self manage your health care steer clear.
