Incompetentce. Uncaring. Non helpful.
I was in debilitating pain from a horrific fall. I had injured my right leg, hip, back, head concussion, and neck. I asked for MRIs of my hip and lumbar back region. His answer was 'let me try this'... every time. He began treating me with no knowledge of my injuries. He hadn't even done an x-ray to see if my hip was fractured. Each time I would ask for MRIs...nope. I've never seen a doctor feeling fine leaving a patient in excruciating, endless pain barely able to hobble to his office. I had gained 105 lbs. since I could barely move. His records are knowingly and intentionally inaccurate. Finally, I became furious months later. At the front desk I demanded MRIs. Here's the skinny... Two labrum tears around the hip, a severely torn glute, a torn hamstring, and three bulging disks in my lower back region pinching off three nerves. Beyond depressed! If you don't know how debilitating the pain is from each of these, look it up. Then combine them all. Find a better, real doctor. I did!

Correction for trigger finger
Dr. Hofer was great! He explained my options and we chose which procedure was right for me. He explained each part of it as we progressed. I have absolute regard for his expertise.

Great office and Doctor
Very happy with the care I received at the Orthopedic office and Dr Hoffer. Everyone from the receptionist to the nurse and doctor were kind, considerate and knowledgeable. First time in a long time I felt the doctor prepared for my visit ahead of time. Dr Hofer had my x-rays and had clearly gone over them and was ready to discuss them with me. He took time to test my shoulder, ask questions and took the time to listen to my answers, questions and concerns. He was clear in his explanation of the treatment and made sure I had a follow up visit to monitor my progress. Very happy with the care I received.

Dr. Hofer offered two options for my treatment. He listened and went with my preference, no questions, no arguments. I felt like my opinion mattered, 100%!! I fully trust Dr. Hofer and if I need an Ortho appointment in the future I would not hesitate.

This was my daughter‘s first broken bone and our experience with Dr. Hofer was more than exceptional. He explained her condition very well and we were back in 3 weeks to get our cast off and she felt right as rain!! Dr. Hofer and his staff are a wonderful team that provides well rounded care. From the receptionist on up we were more than impressed with every aspect of care given. Thank you all so much!

I think reviews are important, as this is what Helps in my decision on who to see and what to buy. I went to Dr. Hofer in December of 2015 for and old injury to my left wrist, which was getting to the point that my hand was almost useless. The Doctor took X-rays and told me that this would be a challenge to repair and that he was going to consult with another doctor. I had my surgery and am now in physical therapy. This doctor is highly recommended!

This is February 2016. I read all the bad reviews, but needed help and I was referred so I went. I love this doctor. I love his staff too. He went over my x-rays with me. He explained everything, answered my questions, gave me a shot. The doctor and his staff were friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and patient. Do not be afraid to come here. He is my new go to doc for my troublesome knee. I would happily refer him to my closest friends.
