I had met Dr. Hadaway for the first time on the morning of surgery for a complete knee replacement. I was determined to have the general anesthesia, but Dr. Hadaway explained to me SEVERAL times the benefits of having a spinal anesthesia versus the spinal. I decided to trust him, and the next thing I remember is waking up after the surgery wide awake, no pain because of being completely numb from the waist down. I felt so good, I called my family members from the recovery room, who thought the surgery had been canceled because I was so coherent and not in pain. He's sincere care and concern and willingness to discuss the patients fears, makes him a truly compassionate and a Physician that sees a person not just a patient. Also a Thank you to your Nurse "Big ?" That made sure I didn't wake up at all during the surgery! GREAT TEAM!
