Dr G recently performed my surgery for a calcaneus fracture resulting from falling. My experience with him has been very positive and I will be walking very soon. Taking into consideration my heel had shifted and I now have a plate and nine screws, my pain level has been very tolerable. He also is a very kind and friendly person. What more could you ask for in a doctor? ????

Nothing stood out w Dr. Goldstein, other than his big ego, no bedside manner, his transcripts during your visits are not true, his versions. He does not want to hear anything is not correct. Refused to look into swelling in my ankle, even after eight months of complaining. DON’T go to him unless you don’t care about your problem being fixed correctly. He explains nothing. Just like the other review stated, he also never looked at my MRI that I suggested to have him do to make sure I needed surgery. Never even went over it w me. Just blew it off! I met the woman who had the screws coming out her feet bc it was not done correctly by this doctor. My only regrets was I did not meet her bf my operation on my Achilles tendon, which he stated was all that was left to do. Well, it still feels just as bad, swells, numbness, and can only walk short walks or stand at most 35 mins. Do you due diligence on doctors. Oh, also never order my pain meds after surgery or my antibiotic - that I ask

STAY AWAY!!!!
Messed up my foot on last appointment he said all your pins in your foot are falling out of place. I said what do we do &why he shrugged. His shoulders, said I don’t know, and he said to me good luck, and that was my last appointment. Seeing him my toes are all bent out of shape. I walk on my other toes, stay away from him.

Arrogant with horrible bedside manner
I was diagnosed with a bone spur and plantar fasciitis. I saw Dr Goldstein 3 times and followed his recommendations. During the 3rd appointment, I realized he never looked at my X-ray. He said “I don’t need to look at the X-ray, I know what is going on. I see millions of these a day.” The problem is that I have never dealt with these issues and when I asked that he pull the X-ray up and explain it, he couldn’t do it but his nurse was able to. (I don’t have a problem that he couldn’t, not everyone is techy). What I have a problem with is that he was dismissive and did not explain what was going on with my foot clearly. I will be looking for a new podiatrist that will treat me like a patient and not a number. I don’t expect to have my hand held but I do expect to be treated like my pain matters and to not be dismissed like I’m a nuisance.

Feeling annoyed and dismissed – Dec 20, 2023

Horrible Office/WONDERFUL Doctor
Dr. Goldstein is a WONDERFUL Doctor. His secretary Agatha was absolutely horrible to work with. My mother in law needed work paperwork filled out for her Time Away From Work. I brought it TWO weeks early. She said to wait until her appointment on October 23rd. The paperwork is due October 26th. We never heard from them and called on the 25th. She said she was working on it. My mother in law went to pick it up on October 26th, the day it’s due and IT STILL WASN'T FILLED OUT. If you need important documents filled out, do not leave that office until they physically hand you the paperwork. I will ALWAYS talk highly about Dr. Goldstein at the hospital but I will never ever ever recommend working with his office. Don’t end up with a $0 paycheck like my mother in law did. Absolutely horrible experience.

After a semi cut me cut causing me to crash directly into the bed of the semi, I was left with a broken femur and crushed ankle and heel. My ankle and heel were crushed and had come out the side of my foot- so severely that it was described as a marshmallow of bones. Dr. Goldstein saved my ankle and foot!! I still need reconstructive surgery to make it as normal as possible but I am SO THANKFUL for Dr. Goldstein and his dedication to ensuring the recovery of my heel and ankle. He is very talented in the work he does! I would recommend him to anyone!! Thank you Dr. Goldstein, so very much. I look forward to my reconstruction.

I met Dr. Goldstein when I was admitted to the Ocala Health Hospital. New to the area, I was told he was an amazing podiatrist and loved by the staff he worked along side of at the hospital. I met with him, talked about my issue and he immediately came up with a plan to resolve the problem. I had surgery, it went extremely well and I am very happy with the results. He has a kind and gentle way about him, great personality, very positive in a no nonsense kind of way. I recommend him to anyone who's afraid to see a foot doctor, he'll take your fear away the instant you meet with him. Great surgeon!!

Dr. Goldstein is an awesome Dr. He is smart, caring, measured, focused and well he's cute too. He operated on my husband's toe which had been a problem for years. Others Doctors said nothing could be done, just take an over the counter pain med... really everyday!! We found Dr. Goldstein and he operated and now my husband no longer any pain in his toe. Thank you Dr. Goldstein. Your care was an absolute game changer in our lives.

Arrived 1/2 hour prior to appt as directed by staff since I was a new patient. Was informed that I need to “take a seat and get comfortable, the doctor is an hour behind”. 90 minutes later was informed the office misplaced medical records I had sent over. Finally saw Dr. Goldstein who was obviously in a hurry to get me out of there...saw him for approximately 8 minutes and was whisked away with a prescription. Just another doc in the volume business, not really interested In answering questions that might slow him down. Seems to be the norm these days.

Dr. Goldstein performed an Achilles tendon allograft on my left ankle approximately 7 years ago. The surgery went excellently even though my condition was much worse than had been anticipated. I was placed in a non-weight bearing cast and could not place any weight on my foot for 17 weeks. Dr. Goldstein followed my case very closely and changed the casts every couple of weeks. Following removal of the casts I went thru two 6-week sessions of physical therapy. Dr. Goldstein had anticipated that I would achieve +80% use of my ankle, but following the therapy, I believe I had achieved approx. 95% use. I can run and play sports and have no limitations on my activities. If I had it all to do over again, Dr. Goldstein is the one I would pick for the task. He was caring and concerned for my well-being.
