Awful doctor
Telehealth
I went into the appointment with an open mind, despite numerous negative reviews of Dr. Gabbard online. I can confirm he lives up to every single negative review. He would not let me talk about symptoms, insisted there was nothing wrong with me, and referred me to GI psychology for acid reflux. I was diagnosed with severe GERD by Cleveland Clinic over 20 years ago and have test results showing there is a physical reason why I have it. Therapy is not going to fix my acid reflux. Don’t waste your time with him.

Excellent Doctor - Thoughtful and Research-Based
Dr. Gabbard has been wonderful throughout the entire process. I have POTS so my condition can be very complicated, often involving many interconnected parts of the body. His approach has been thoughtful, caring and, most importantly, research-based. He takes soo much time explaining things in detail, and we have an educated discussion about the best approach to take. He's never offended or put off when I bring new research or questions to him, and that level of openness and willingness to hear me as his patient is paramount. He's been a gem in my world of doctors and I'm very grateful to have found him.

Knowledgeable however he told me I must go to only CCF endoscopist or he would not treat me. Absurd-patient has the right to go where they want. I followed up with the ombudsman & the department head who told me they would not work with other hospital physicians.
