Excellent care
Dr Fischer extracted two of my upper molars this morning. He reviewed the procedure before hand. Everything went very well and his expertise was appreciated. Directions for post extraction care was provided in detail. He called me later in the day to see how I was doing. I would highly recommend Dr Fischer and will go back to him if I need more surgery.

At the end of November I had a tooth extracted by Dr. Scott Fischer at BWS. I am very satisfied with the treatment I had. Dr. Fischer is very nice, very professional, communicated clearly and ensured I understood what to expect. My extraction was successful without issues, and Dr. Fischer even phoned me later that evening to ensure all was well. I recovered quickly. The entire staff is professional and courteous. I highly recommend BWS.

I placed my trust in this oral surgeon after hearing great reviews. I am so happy I did! My son had his 4 wisdom teeth extracted with the tiny possibility of a lifetime of slight numbness due to the impaction and location of the long roots. ** No worries now as my son is absolutely fine with no after effects post surgery.

**DISAPPOINTED** I understand that oral surgery will be expensive, and I believe anyone looking into an oral procedure is prepared to have a high estimate / bill. Although, I feel that the office should communicate the expected upfront fees (consultation) or co-pay especially to a new patient. I had an appointment just for a consultation on an implant, but I was not prepared to drop $500 dollars in one visit especially when I saw the doctor for not even 5 minutes! The doctor quickly looked inside my mouth, asked if I had a panoramic x-ray. It was also a strange conversation before the doctor and I because he was not clear about the x-ray. I wasn’t sure if he meant if I’ve had one in general or recently .. He just made it very awkward and confusing. It did not make me feel confident in him as a doctor. After minutes of trying to get through that conversation he told me that he needed x-rays and someone would come in shortly to assist BUT didn't realize someone was going to drop a bomb

Dr. Fischer is AMAZING. Highly recommend. He took out all 4 of my wisdom teeth & my healing process went smoothly. He’s very funny & kind. One critique would be the post op experience. My payment & follow up appointments were handled after the surgery. I was also only given one very tiny ice pack.

Dr. Fischer was excellent! He is extremely competent, kind and caring. He did an extraction. He took lots of time to explain before and after the procedure. He called me at night time to check on me. Great place & wonderful staff.

Not a good experience as a patient. Seems technically / medically good. My issue: I was evidently “debriefed” on the procedure while I was still under general anesthesia. Hence, I had no recall of any conversation, and asked my driver to go back to the office right after as that just seemed so wrong! Once back, I was handed a generic photocopied page of follow-ups that made no mention of a prescription. Accidentally, I found out that I should have started an antibiotic the same day as surgery because I happened to refill an unrelated prescription two days later, and my pharmacist told me there was an Rx there for me that I knew nothing about! The antibiotic prescribed is one that I have a stomach sensitivity to, so if the doctor or his office had asked - I am sure i could have been given an antibiotic that does not cause stomach distress. The procedure seems to have gone well, very little pain. That part seems very good. Surely, patient care can be better.

Great from start to finish. Dr. Fischer explains..and makes you feel comfortable and confident. He and his staff - tops. My surgery lasted 1 1/2 hours..it was major and I did not feel or see a thing since I was sedated. Even though Dr. Fischer told me to take my pain meds after surgery....I did not have to. I took some advil for the first day and after that...I was fine.
