He is a man if integrity and takes his patient's condition seriously. His concern is genuine and he lives by his medical oath. He is very knowledgeable and professional. I'd drive from anywhere in the state to have him. He does lasar surgeries and takes time to help people. He is a most trusted eye doctor.

I am writing this review because of the poor reviews that are already posted. Dr. Claycomb is, in my opinion, an excellent ophthalmologist. My only experience is with cataract surgery. Dr. Claycomb and his staff were extremely thorough and pleasant. The procedure was explained well and the surgery went very well both times. After my last surgery I had some minor problems and discussed them with a nurse. They were very willing to set up a last minute appointment if I felt it was needed.
