Dr. Scott Becker, MD

I found Dr. Becker for the not very willing to listen to my concerns or the issues that I was trying to tell him I was dealing with. He just had his mind made up as soon as he saw me what the problem was and really didn't hear what I had to say about knowing my body and what was changing.

Dr. Becker yelled at me when I told him my previous medical history. He wore street clothes during my colonoscopy. I believe he thinks patients are dumb!!

My doctor referred me to Dr Becker. And l feel blessed, he is very professional, kind and l am so grateful for his help. His office people are very kind, good and keep his office going perfectly.

I visited Dr Becker for esophagus issues.. Dr. Becker is very thorough in his visits. He listens to you to find out what your issues are, then talks to you in length about what he is going to do to solve them. He is very caring and compassionate. This was not my first colonoscopy with Dr. Becker. As had been the case with my previous visits, Dr. Becker was thoroughly professional and simultaneously very pleasant. a very nice combination. From start to finish, I had no doubt that everything about my procedure would be fine. I was not disappointed. His staff were also very kind and respectful and made me feel very confident in the experience. I would and do recommend Dr. Becker very highly.

Four years ago I was called in to schedule a colonoscopy. Dr. Becker reviewed my previous procedure and sent me home saying I was not at short or midterm risk. My recent general check-up with my PCP showed some low blood numbers, suggesting possibility of intestinal problems, and I was referred to Dr. Becker. I made an appointment and had a very short wait at the office before being taken care of. Dr. Becker was friendly, respectful and straighforward in his evaluation, and even though I was not due for my regular colonoscopy until 2023, Dr. Becker determined that an earlier procedure was called for. He fit me in to his busy surgery schedule a mere 3 days later, and I ended up with several polyps, some of which were pre-cancerous, and all were removed. Dr Becker will put me on a shorter schedule for future evaluations and procedures. Both I and my wife have been with Dr. Becker for over 10 years and would not consider making a change. He has served us very well.

I've been using Dr. Becker for several years as my G.I. Specialist. I've had really good results with all the issues I've seen Dr. Becker for. He's an exceptionally knowledgeable Doctor who is an expert in his field. It's nice to deal with someone who you can be sure knows what they're doing. Austin Gastro is a great practice, all the staff have been really helpful too. I highly recommend this doctor and his practice.

This doctor actually asked me, wouldn’t I feel more comfortable seeing a lady doctor? Um, I’m here for excellent medical care. If man doctor is uncomfortable seeing female patients, he should retire in shame. I was horribly offended that this doctor wasn’t going to consider providing me with top quality treatment based on my gender.

The entire visit felt extremely condescending and negative, like I was inconveniencing him.
