Dr Ard is a wonderful doctor who care about his patient. after my pacemaker surgery he called me several times to make sure I am okay. he's kind and thoughtful and explain to me every details and answer every question I asked.

The first thing Dr. Ard did was listen to my heart

Always listens and takes his time answering questions. Makes you feel he's interested in keeping you healthy.

This was follow up for hospital visit. Dr. Ard listens well, then gives precise yet kind instructions. I appreciated his manner .

Dr. Ard explains details of patient’s condition. He answers and listens to questions and concerns. Serious face and explains things very seriously, but throws some humor in between. Easy going personality.

My first impression of Dr Ard was that he showed genuine interest in my symptoms and well-being, took the time to clearly explain any possible differentials, as well the next steps toward a diagnosis, which were carried out immediately, before I left the office.Reflective of his background and reputation as an exceptional cardiologist, Dr Ard listened and offered reassurance. He ordered the appropriate diagnostic tests and appeared empathetic and aware of how patients feel when they are facing the unknown. I felt Dr Ard conveyed professionalism and quickly acted on a diagnostic plan, which was much appreciated.

Dr Ard was very professional and reassuring to me as a patient and also my husband who came with me. He is definitely the doctor I want by my side if my condition should ever warrant more testing or other medical procedures. We both were very impressed with his personality and caring manner.

He’s the best looking doctor in carteret county.

He installed my pacemaker on May 3rd, 2018 at Carteret General Hospital, Morehead City. He was not my primary Dr. however he was the surgeon that did the work. He was very informative on what was going to happen the device he was going to use. After the procedure, he came by to see me and let me know how it went. I saw him again a week later in his office and other than a short wait everything went well. Nice office and staff, I was well take care.

Dr. Ard saw my husband for an admission. He gave him bp med and when it was time for a refill, declined the refill because he had only seen him once. The last appt had been less than a year and we were told unless there was a problem we didn't need to come back. The front desk told us good luck trying to get an appointment with him. The on call doctor hung up on me. In the meantime, my husband has gone 4 days without his bp meds. In good faith, I could not recommend this doctor or facility.
