Worst bedside manner ever
My Mom has been dealing with heart issue and Dr. Allen is the worst doctor of any she has ever dealt with. Rude, belittling, condescending etc.. Will never go back and he needs a different profession that does not deal with people.

Step it up next time
Let me sit all day in hospital waiting to be released. Then decided he didn't need to see me but didn't notify anyone. So I sat some more.

Extremely Rude and Condescending
I saw Dr. Allen 2 years ago and I still remember how rude he was. He didn’t review my records and made inappropriate recommendations. I did not return for a follow-up. I can’t think of any doctor as arrogant and rude as Dr. Allen.

NEGATIVE 5 STARS, NOT WORTH ONE
Worst Doctor I have ever come in contact with at Health Park. He rolled his eyes nonstop the entire rushed 4 mins that he spent with me, and wouldn't let me speak. He called me out every time I asked a question about my test results from the Emergency room the night before, or how long would I be in the hospital. He repeated my questions while rolling his eyes, with sarcastic responses. He spoke over me, and shot down my questions as if I was a two year old. I had 4 visitors in the room, they could not believe how he spoke to me, I am a 57 year old patient, with Congestive Heart Failure. Please do not see this man. He does not care about you, and does not like his job.

Excellent Cardiologist
Dr. Allen is an excellent physician. I see him because I have a prosthetic heart valve. Things are going well, but I always have questions . He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to give me answers in a calm, reassuring way. I highly recommend him.

Wow, What a horrible professional. If you're ever stuck with him do yourself a favor and just go see someone else. I don't understand how this guy still has a job. What a smug man child. He'll speak down to you, dismiss you, and explain nothing.

My husband & I were patients of Dr Allen until today. Dr Allen has cancelled our last two appointments at the last minute. We were scheduled tomorrow to discuss the results of a blocked carotid artery. His office cancelled at last minute and cannot reschedule for another month. Tried to get results of test no one calls back. I would give Dr Allen a (negative 5 stars). I would not recommend Dr. Allen to my worst enemy. Terrible experience with Dr Allen & his assistants who also do not return calls.

Awful, rude, horrible, belittling, I wish I could think of something good to say but I can’t. This “Doctor” needs a reality check in the way to treat patients. I did some poking around and asking questions at Florida Heart as to why he still has a job there and I got a look of “I know what you mean” from the staff and even from other doctors. I have changed cardiologists and couldn’t be happier. If he ever walks into your room just get up and leave..save yourself the aggravation.

I found him to be very pompous, condescending and uncaring. He told us what the problem was but refused to do the surgery to repair the problem due tothe patients mental capacity. His answer was to let the patient die and not "prolong his suffering". I would never recommend this Doctor.

The diagnosis after my cath he told me to my face was he found something small on my left side then he said to try meds. When I told him I was on that med before and didn't work he then became irritated and said to talk to Dr. Hon. The written diagnosis on the report stated SEVERE STENOSIS..now I wait yet again. AVOID THIS DOCTOR. I am in the process of trying to get in to see a different group of cardiologists.

I completely agree with the others with one star. If I could give him no stars at all I would. He is the most condescending, rude, unsympathetic, & sarcastic physician. Terrible bedside manner. I think he actually smirked and laughed in my face at one point. I had to basically beg him for further testing because he didn’t think it had anything to do with the heart after looking at a few charts. Never met me. Didn’t even ask why I was here or my history. His PA was outstanding! Please dont use!

If there were a way to rate a negative rating I would. Agree completely with the review describing him as arrogant, unsympathetic, rude and defensive when questioned. He may be young and cutting edge, but it takes more than intelligence to treat the patient. He obviously missed attending or failed the classes where he should have learned compassion and humility. You don't lecture sick people, you don't berate, your patient. He is cold as ice..
