Dr Schaaf performed surgery on my arthritic left shoulder. The difference was amazing. He did a full knee replacement three weeks ago. Saw the post op X-rays perfect fit. Recovery moving along ahead of the curve. When I went in for an exam before my shoulder surgery I was struggling to get my coat on. He took my coat and held it for me. Who does that? Genuinely a nice man and a great surgeon. Recommend him in a heartbeat for orthopedic surgery.

Doctor Schaaf has repaired the rotator cuff in both shoulders over the past few years with great success. He has just done a total knee replacement of my left knee six days ago. I have very little pain and can walk with a cane already, although I still have a lot of healing to go thru. I am looking forward to having Doctor Shaaf do a total knee replacement on my right knee in the near future. I consider him a great surgeon and he has a great medical staff at the Everett Clinic and Providence Hospital to back him up.

Dr Scott Schaaf rebuilt my crushed elbow 17 years ago with bone fragments & screws nuts. He worked a miracle for me. I have great mobility & I have full use of my arm. Then in 2013 he did surgery on my knee from a car accident. He did the same excellent job. I will be forever grateful. He's the very best.

Dr. Schaaf is dishonest and a bad Dr. He misdiagnosed my injury. He then made a poor decision in surgery. I had an Essex-leprosti injury but he did not even look at my wrist. He only treated the elbow with orif. With the amount of damage to elbow and soft tissue it should have been a radial replacement. The orif failed but he did not catch the non union until after removing hardware from orif. He left a single screw in the unhealed fragment but when asked why he left a screw behind he lied. He did two surgeries, had two missed diagnosis, and lied. His mistakes cost me virtually all function in what was my dominant arm.

S. Schaaf was t-of-c from 1st MD [refused to order surgery for rotator cuff strain [bicep tenodesis, slap II, pasta, sad], cervical trauma [medical massage]. S. Schaaf is very uncommunicative, opposite of his internet philosophy. I told him a nurse referred as he'd repaired her shoulders. He knew I was seeking surgery. He did usual 5 min. tests reporting CT as primary injury, false. He lied in report, "doesn't want surgery...no pain'. Told me 'I only want conservative' offered on PT or injection
