Dr Kara is great, but I eventually found another doctor due to the incompetent office staff.

Dr. Kara is a very compassionate and very knowledgeable in her filed. She takes time to explain and listens to the needs of her patient. I am a mom of a special kid and I know what it means to be understood of the needs of my son, but Dr. Kara is there and will go out of her way to help and address our concern be it medical or social. She has a BIG heart to understand the needs of my special son, I admire her not only as my son's pediatrician but as a mother who really cares.

My son had been feverish for 6 days, with typical Kawasaki Disease symptoms like rashes, red eyes, swollen palms, body aches. Dr. Kara completely missed the diagnosis, said it was just a viral infection, asking me to switch Tylenol to Motrin for stronger fever killing effect. Fortunately I googled out Kawasaki Disease and rushed my son to a internal medicine doctor who diagnosed him with Kawasaki and sent us to hospitalization right away. Son't put your child at Kara's hand. She is UNQUALIFIED!
