I had scheduled a new appointment to establish patient care with Dr. Saumil Mehta for both my parents. They are both not very fluent in English so I filled out their intake forms and made sure to get a doctor who speaks a second language so my parents can communicate better. My parents had awful experience, they are so upset that they are not willing to even go to any other PCP at the moment. His rude behavior and demeanor felt like he was barely interested in treating. He made comments repeatedly saying “ you cannot afford or get Ozempic, you guys probably use coupons to buy meds.” First of all my parents have been using Ozempic since 3-4 years now and have Insurance that covers most part of it. Assuming we use coupons who are you to judge us? You are getting fees for your service and as well a good portion from insurance - A doctor should be sympathetic towards patient and not rude. He was so rude that my father was traumatized and had to miss work next day just to recover. If it does not get any better for my father and if he needs a psych evaluation, DR. Saumil is looking at a law suit coming his way. Pathetic service! Do NOT go! I had scheduled a new appointment to establish patient care with Dr. Saumil Mehta for both my parents. He interrupted me, shushed me, refused to let me speak or listen to my questions. It seems like he either doesn't respect women enough to let them be advocates in their healthcare or has such poor bedside manners that he treats all patients with such disdain. Either way, he is unprofessional and untrustworthy. He and/or the practice he is associated with lied to my insurance when I pursued information through them. They in one moment told my insurance they had no way to contact me to sort the issue while the next moment were calling me...and had called me previously. It is a very uncomfortable experience with this provider and practice. He ended our phone call by yelling at me that he did not care either way if I paid my bill...which seems to me like he will now refuse to take the payment I already sent (mind you, it's $20 after insurance paid much more)...his behavior and mannerism has frightened me at this point. I worry that he was threatening to send me to collections and harm my c

I have been working with doctors for a long time. After changing my insurance I saw that both Mehta and his wife , a mental health professional, both shared the same office close to my home. I was super impressed with Dr. Mehta. He doesn't leave a stone unturned. I was very focused on getting a new refill for a sleeping medication I had been taking for over six years. He quickly stopped this medication and put me on something that is not habit forming. I was not happy. But you know what ? I am sleeping beyyer than ever thanks to him.

The moment Dr Metha walked into the room he was rude, dismissive, arrogant. The first thing he says is I don't want you as a patient and its best we don't waste each others time. It was like out of a movie! I couldn't believe someone who works with people all the time, could be so nasty. I am a gay male and I really hope my orientation had nothing to do with his attitude. Please people save your time and money!!! Find a compassionate and decent doctor!

My husband and I have both been patients of Dr. Mehta for about 9yrs. He has a very pleasant bedside manner & is very knowledgeable. His dianoses and treatments have been spot on since day 1. We cannot recommend him enough. His nurse, Glenda is great and always returns calls promptly.
