Disappointed!
My husband has been a patient of Dr Ganjam for over8 years. Sadly, the office communication has declined significantly. No one answers the phone - EVER! I’ve been waiting 2 weeks for an Rx refill. Currently at Dr appt for Ganjam referral and we have idea why we’re here. The office was supposed to mail blood work results two weeks ago but nothing has been received. This referral doc can’t even get in touch with anyone at Ganjam office as we sit and wait. To make matters worse, the referral doc has no idea why we’re here either!? This is completely unacceptable! It’s pretty bad when a patient can’t get any updates on his own changing medical situation.

Dr. Ganjam has been my PCP for a few years now. His decision making, willingness to listen, explanation of conditions and prescriptions, and friendliness has significantly decreased over the past year. He often has asks me to come in for an necessary office visit just so he can send routine medicine to my pharmacy of choice. Most recently, during an office visit at North Atlanta Primary Care, he was very rude and sarcastic in response too explaining my issue. (Note, this wasn't the first time he has responded to me sarcastically, however, it was his first time being rude.) I followed up via email, asking questions about new meds that he prescribed and I picked up last week, he was very curt in his response, as though he was not willing to explain. The only reason that I asked, was because the newly prescribed medicine is making me more sick with new symptoms. I do not recommend Dr. Ganjam as a PCP.

Pleasant fellow. Doesn't care about patients only pushing tests to generate more income and prescribing medication that can have horrible side effects.

Dr Ganjam - I'm writing this review after ~7 visits over about 18 months. This experience is with NAPC, which is a large & overall very good practice I've used for 17 years. Pros - knowledgeable, generally effective, & accessible Cons - zero empathy or ability to express compassion (at least to me) So as long as you don't have anything complicated and aren't emotionally concerned about any health issue, he is a fine choice. In my experience, when faced with a situation that required empathy, it seemed like he /wanted/ to improve the situation, and had absolutely no idea where to begin. The first time wasn't a big deal, but the second time was a big deal enough to cause me to switch providers.

Dr. Ganjam initially was somewhat helpful, but as soon as I had needs beyond the traditional physical or give it a week type illness he became unresponsive. I respect the stress and effort that goes into being a physician and providing care. But, I do not respect that I was treated like nothing more than a number or a profit center. When I really needed advice/help he was not accessible nor did he return calls or emails for 8 days. If you want a relationship where people matter look elsewhere.

Really does nothing about gaining insight into your health. Seems more interested in getting you back for frequent checkups to charge for them. When you do have the checkup, he really justs asks if you're doing OK, and then talks about random trips to Orlando. Seems to guess at what any condition you have is, rather than telling you about it. I question his general knowledge.
